Hi, I'm Harry, And I wanted to share my experience at the Fish House last Sunday night. They had advertised that pianist Stephen Mars's would be playing that night, so I checked out his music on line and got so excited to see him and hear some of his CD of Beatles music that I went with my girlfriend that night to see him. But I misunderstood the hours he was playing from 2-6 and believed he was playing from 6-9. So when we arrived there we were very disappointed to hear he was finished playing. So after we spoke to him for a little while explaining our disappointment, he went back up on stage and played some Beatles music for us and the other patrons despite his shift having ended. There was a pretty decent crowd and everyone loved it. Stephen is really a wonderful musician and truly an interesting and terrific guy! So I would highly recommend the music in The Backroom Live at the Fish House, particularly when Stephen Marks is performing there. Thanks Harry K.

Used to be a great restaurant to go to, but It’s not right when you’re asking someone to pay a cover charge to eat dinner just to listen to music I used to love coming to this restaurant. I won’t be back there again!

If you are looking for a fabulous place to dine, don't look any further. Backroom Live is the place to go ! I recently ordered their crab cakes, and they were absolutely delicious ! ? I will be returning to try other dishes . Don't take my word , go and experience the food yourself, and thank me later by posting your own review. One more thing, they offer live music on Tuesday and Wednesday nights !

This place is great! I'm a huge fan of anywhere I can eat and listen to live music at the same time. The butternut squash pizza was delish. Only confusing bit is that the bar is cash only while the food ordering is not. Def would go back.

Was lucky to stop in tonight and hear some great jazz. It's really nice to experience music this way, casual, with lots of strangers and drinks in a warm, worn room. I have a hard time enjoying jazz at the shrine called SF Jazz, this is my kind of place and I'm grateful this place exists. Live music every night.

Oh Wow, the sound of the music and amazing voices of the people performing here was outstanding.We were having dinner next door and we came to this place right after.I asked a few people and they told me that this place has different concerts going on and I will need to check online for their event's information.Definitely a place to go back!!!
