Everything was spot on from the food ,the service our server Kevin was incredible and the manager Francisco is amazing. He's the reason I always come back plus the food.! Fax is  quesadillas with zucchini blossoms the grill stir skate with chile Riellenos ! Chicken enchiladas with green sauce and dessert the Chrfos are a must  One of the true authentic gourmet Mexican restaurants in town! Run dint walk !

He navigated the floor with a genuine friendliness that made the table feel welcomed rather than just "seated." His timing was impeccable, and his warmth added a layer of hospitality that elevated the entire experience. The Drinks: Tequila Heaven The bar program at Bakan is undeniably its strongest suit. The tequila and mezcal library is vast, offering a curated selection that makes their margarita menu particularly desirable. The Standout: The Tamarind Margarita is a non-negotiable order. Service is the most compelling aspect of Baksn. Juan is knowledgeable, sincere, helpful and made helpful suggestions. Drink menu and quality is also good. Staff is knowledgeable and excited about their tequilas and mezcal. Food is subpar. Queso was extremely thick requiring a nice to eat it on the warm tortilla. Salsas weee fresh and unique. I ordered the mole verde, the mole was delicious but the seabass was not edible as it was overcooked. I sent it back while my 3 dining partners ate. 20 minutes later the new seabass arrived and was tougher to cut than a steak. I didn't try for a 3rd round as my friends were finished with their meals, citing their meals as “ok”. They did mot charge me for my meal and apologized and I left hungry. The Cook should pay attention to the quality of food going out rather than eating on the open kitchen line , also not very sanitary. We will not return.

Made my partners birthday very special with a surprise! The server Juan was very helpful, patient and polite. The food was outstanding, and the mole coloradito was the highlight of our food experience here in Miami. Great vibes, sat next to a window and the greenery adds a lot of aesthetic.

Bakan is such a great spot! I went there for a second date and honestly loved the whole vibe. The décor, the energy, the ambiance—everything felt lively and fun. Yes, it can get a little loud, but it’s the kind of noise that reminds you the place is alive and people are having a good time. And truthfully, I didn’t mind it at all because I was in great company.
The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And I have to mention the Será Melón, Será Sandía margarita… wow. Refreshing, a little playful, and definitely one of the highlights of the night.
Overall, Bakan delivered the perfect mix of good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere. I’d definitely go back!

Superb modern cuisine that integrates a lot of Mexican and South American ingredients. Good options for people with gluten sensitivity. Home-made corn tortillas, fantastic ceviche, seafood, steak, guacamole and chips, and things like tacos and enchiladas. For the adventurous eater they've got a few insect and huitlacoche dishes. For the more conservative they also have great steaks. The whole menu has a curated selection of mezcal (and maybe tequila) pairing recommendations. Also a wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff.
