i came here & asked for an arepa, but didn’t get the typical one. Mine was kind of tasteless & bland

I being only an english speaking person with very limited Spanish had no problem getting across what I wanted to eat. The staff was friendly with a great smile!!! It was by far the best Colombian breakfast I have ever had! The coffee wasn't like normal cup of coffee from a resturant, it tasted home made. All ingredients were fresh and prepaired to perfection. I would recommend anyone who plans to go to Zoo Miami go here for a meal before hand as they are literally up the street from Zoo Miami. I plan to visit again if I am ever in the area again!

Yummy Food!A good distraction for a busy day

I have had lunch here a few times and its always been good. I am Cuban married to a Colombian and we work at the Zoo across the street. We were pleasantly surprised to have a great and not too pricey Colombian restaurant near by. Today I had the grilled chicken lunch with lentils, AMAZING!!!! One of thee best lentils I've had in a long time. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fresh. Highly recommend. Never disappoints! EXCELLENTE!!!!!!

I have a hard time understanding why some people give this restaurant 5 stars. Took my grandparents to celebrate my daughter's birthday during lunch.... WORST experience ever. My grandmother specifically ask for freshly fried empanadas, to which the waitress said it wouldn't be a problem. I ordered a chicken lunch, to which I canceled. The manager/owner would not let me cancel my order because she had already made it.... mind you it had been ordered 3 minutes prior. The reason we decided to cancel my order is because my grandmother who specifically ask for freshly fried empanadas watched her empanada come out of the warm case and be put in a microwave...... when I asked the waitress to just cancel my order and let me pay for the empanadas we were throwing away and our drinks, the manager wanted to charge us for food we never ate. I and as we left she yelled out loud to a customer walking in, "they only want to complain". Complain about sketchy food? No at no point did I ask for a manager all I wanted to do was pay for bad food that was delivered to my table. I should have just walked out. Please save your money. Nothing there is fresh.

This place is a gem. Great coffee, great pastries and service with a smile. The guava bread is something like a sugar doughnut with a guava filling. It never made it home. It was all gone in the 15 minute drive home.

While out doing errands stumbled upon a new Colombian spot in the area. Walked in and they had your typical pan de bono, buñuelo, pan de queso, enpanadas, chicharon, etc. The owner advised they also served breakfast so we sat down and got the menu. Mmmm.. what to choose. Ordered un calentado con chocolate caliente. Soooo good! It was so much food I couldn’t finish it. So packed the leftovers to go for my sons. I will most definitely be back. Nice, clean and they were so attentive and welcoming. Oh and you must try their avena. ?

Food was great! , had the lunch special, the price very inexpensive. Very warm and friendly service.
