Overcharged me. My receipt says 282.29 and my credit card got charged 299.19. Actually loved the place and the food though. Just hate the inconvenience.

Three of us visited on an early Sunday afternoon (right when they opened) for happy hour. Ordered mostly from the HH menu but 3 rolls that were on the normal menu, and had only one glass of wine for the table (2 diners weren't drinking) and the bill was still $180 which seems like a lot for happy hour with barely any alcohol. The food was good though, and service and vibe :-)

Rare gem!! Everything my husband and I ate here was off the charts! The Dynamite roll and ALL Nigiri dishes we tried were our favorites. They have nice couch seating outside for a romantic lounge feel. Our server was excellent and had great recommendations. The place is decorated beautifully with chill, exotic vibes. It was empty at 7:30pm when we arrived but by 8:30 it had started picking up. As far as drinks go, I highly recommend the bloody Mary. It's very refreshing and unique.

Like always amazing service and the food was amazing too we didnt like two dishes the ceviche rooll and the ica tiradito it wasnt bad but the flavors where not good together overall we love this place

Excellent food but pricey. Great presentation.Loved the Sake Spritz cocktail. Waiter took note of my sons sesame allergy proactively as I had added it to the reservation. That was great. Balagan is A hidden gem.Good parking available as the restaurant is located on the outskirts of Wynwood.
Super quality food. I've eaten A LOT of sushi as it's my favorite dish. I must say I had one of my lifetime favorite maki rolls here, The tataki with seared black tuna on top, jalapeno, white tuna, avocado inside, and drizzled with a delish pancake miso sauce. Some cilantro on top as for those who are averse.I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because they automatically included a 20% tipas part of the bill on top of my additional 20% tip that I left when signing. If I paid attention to the receipt I would have caught it, but was food drunk

Since my husband and I love Japanese cuisine we wanted to try this Nikkei sushi restaurant in Wynwood district. We liked the interior space which has a nice modern, high ceiling and well spaced table-seating. Menu food options is very focused on raw sushi-sashimi interpretations of Japanese-Peruvian taste. We ordered the Mushroom Tostada which was delightfully flavorful, crisp and light. Both the Limeno and Samurai Tiraditos were nicely plated and portioned for tasting, we preferred the Limeno. We ordered the Truffle Dynamite Nikkei roll which was delicious. All the Nikkei Nigiri we ordered: Corvina, Eby Torched and Salmon were very enjoyable, we favored the 1st two. They could add to their Sake menu as they only offer 3 selections. It's a nice place for light meal or happy hour.

Casual Dinner out on a Friday night. Server was on point with service and recommendations. The food was delicious! We tried several things new to us and they were amazing. A great dining experience I'd recommend to anyone visiting Miami.
