Had our company Christmas party here, it was great! Food was excellent, Samantha our even coordinator was on point and all the managers on site were extremely helpful. Salsa dancers were great, DJ was awesome played all the requests our employees asked for, really a great place and the atmosphere was on point!!

The food & drinks were fantastic - that’s why this review has two stars. The service however, was a huge let down. It seemed like our waitress couldn’t be bothered with our table of four. This was a Monday afternoon at 2:30pm, so it really wasn’t that busy. 45+ minutes went by and nothing - we politely waved at her to come and take our order, to which she responded by raising a finger as to say “one moment”, and still not coming to see us for another 15 minutes. Once we finally got the drinks order in, including tap waters! still nothing arrived after 30 minutes. We decided to go find her and tell her not to bother with the previous order, to which she argued with us and said they are ready now, and none of this was her fault. We won’t be coming back.

Nice environment but was surprised when I got the bill. We sat at the bar. There was a service fee of $4 and then a forced tip of $9 with the option for additional tip. Final bill did not show the service fee. We had 3 drinks ( no food)and our total without an Additional tip was $67.

This place was awesome last year; so awesome in fact that we planned my wife’s birthday dinner this year. This last visit was horrible. In fact, I’m confident we will never return. They completely dropped the ball on our reservation, and we didn’t have a service at our table. To add insult to injury, this place is automatically applying a 7% service charge in an 18% tip. How do you have the audacity to charge a patriot a 25% service fee to walk up to your bar and get their beers & spirits themselves? This is Ludacris and I hope they fix it because it’s just not right. If you don’t have the staff to support the reservations, don’t take them.

I enjoyed tonight’s entertainment. As I tried to walk back into the venue post-cigarette break, I attempted to pay my bill but one bouncer denied/provoked me harshly and I was forced to exit on no reasonable grounds, all whilst the accompanying bouncer knew me by facial recognition and attempted to welcome me back. I’ve been to Ball and Chain many times and I’ve had amazing experiences. I’m very disappointed in this one outlier.

The bartender might’ve grabbed all my cash out of my hand (for a drink that was already paid for!), and the bouncer guarded that back garden with his life, but boy did I dance with everyone and have a genuine blast. This place is so fun and people really know how to salsa here!
