We were down for the Orange Bowl and looking for an authentic Brazilian restaurant when we found Bar D-A Vila. It has a great atmosphere and even better service! Our waiter was extremely attentive and very friendly and we felt like the whole staff was there for us. My wife is Brazilian and felt like she was back in Belo Horizonte. We tried several dishes and all of the food options were delicious. I strongly recommend this place for anyone looking to get out of the hustle of Miami and looking for a little get away in the city. 5 Stars all around, we will definitely be back!
Sunday, august 15. Made a reservation for 5pm and drove 40 mins to eat here.I am writing this at 5.25pm and still closed.
- server didn’t speak English- didn’t provide any napkins- gave us plates so tiny it was hard to eat the streak without feeding the table- added 18% gratuity for a party of 2- service was horrible. You derseve $0.00.- will never go back- 45 minute wait when the place was empty. We were the only 2 people
The place was closed and we were not informed. It was a party of 8 people celebrating a birthday. We would have appreciated if we would have been informed that the place is closed and no one picks up the phone.

So happy to see them open again! Deborah was friendly and very attentive. The food is delicious and the wine was smooth. Can't wait to go back for Happy Hour!!!!
I was served a rotten Picanha steak.
Are you guys still open? I would love to come back! Please reply!
As a Brazilian Im very disappointed with this place. Please but please don’t wast your time and money here! Worse customer service ever, food take too long and the manager doesn’t care about nothing. If you really want to try the Brazilian taste definitely this is not the right place!!
Party of 6 with only 2 glasses and a bottle of water, no napkins, extra slow service, Raw chicken will be part of the experience coming to this place. No coordination whatsoever, it looked like they were not ready to handle the business. We had to continuously call our servers to bring things to our table. Only ONE vinaigrette for six people ( and they were pretty small ). I will NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Unbelievable place! The atmosphere made me feel like I was out of the country. The food was delicious and the service was very very good. I’ll be back!
I knew to keep expectations low when I called to make the reservation: rather than answering "my name is so-so and this is restaurant XYZ," this person replied with a very informal "hey." At least confirm I've called the right restaurant. Fast forward, the food took a quite some time to come out and when it did, the wait wasn't worth it. I ordered their Jack Daniels Burger with onion rings, bacon, cheese and drenched in their signature Jack Daniels sauce: despite these mouth-watering topics, the burger had NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER! Literally tasted like water! No type of seasoning was found and their fries had no salt! Needless to say I was wildly disappointed. Then, my friend's dish was bizarre: Shrimp soaked in a weird smelling cheese sauce with plain white rice and potato sticks. Since when does shrimp and cheese go together?! And the cheese had a weird odor. Overall, this culinary experience was very disappointing. The saving grace was the server was nice, but spend your money elsewhere!
The place serves big portions and for convenient pricing. friendly staff members. I recommend this place.
