It was a walk in bar with security. It was very modern inside, and had nice big window cutouts to feel the breeze at night. The tacos were great and even better priced for being that good. Mg favorite was the pork belly tacos.

Liked it! Party of 4. After attending a poetry show at Books and Books we decided to get dinner here. Food was good. I had the pork belly tacos, although cooked a tad bit to crispy for my liking, they tasted really good. My friends had the carnital tacos, chicken tacos, cauliflower taco and cucumber salad and were pleased.
We liked the music! Made for a festive atmosphere.
We weren't to happy with our server. Although she was pleasant we felt like we were bothering her-wasn't attentive at all.
All in all it was good!

Last night, we had a great time at BarTaco, and I have to say, it was an awesome experience. Even though they were a bit short-staffed, the service was excellent, the team really made us feel welcome.
The food was fantastic, and the staff’s recommendations were spot on. We had a nice chat with Michael, who we thought was the owner but turned out to be the general manager. He was doing an amazing job, and it was clear that everyone there was genuinely happy to be working.
The hostess was super sweet and mentioned she used to be a bartender; she even made us our drinks! Our server, Sky, was fantastic—she checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Overall, it was such a lovely experience, and I really think there should be more places like this in Miami. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience at BarTaco Coral Gables! The food and vibe were amazing, but what really stood out was the service. Heather, the manager, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She took the time to show me around the different areas of the restaurant that can be rented out for events, and her warmth and professionalism made the experience feel extra special. It’s rare to find that level of care and hospitality these days. Thank you, Heather, for making the visit memorable — I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is our second time at Bar Taco in Coconut Grove with our families. We have had such amazing times with great food and drinks. We love the family friendly atmosphere with great service. It’s hard to find a place we would go back to with our children but this is that place hands down. From our server Skye to the manager Michael, everyone is so nice and hospitable it’s a rare find in a city with so many restaurants. We will definitely be back!
