I enjoy the food, and used to have it delivered, but then they stopped allowing comments on delivery platforms' orders, so I can't request omitting things I don't enjoy. Maybe the chef resents having to make such modifications: in any case, it's your call whether to allow, but you lost one customer to it, for what that's worth. If you don't want a bunch of substitution requests, you could use checkboxes to allow customers to take ingredients out.

The place was decent and the waiter was great, but the food was less than we expected from the reviews. We tried a few different things because we hadn’t been there before, but nothing was really exquisite

Not a bang for the buck, the food is good but think the Thai Express next to it offer same quality of food for a fraction of the price; they included the 20% tips (i guess cause i’m a tourist) and the server himself commented on the quality of the service/food.
