The ribeye was probably the worst I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were complete mush, and shrimp was cold and rubbery with no flavor. The broccoli was not cooked as well. Service was extremely slow. This is one of the main reasons to not eat in a tourist location.

A bit disappointed as I remember Bubba being tastier. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner which came with 16 pieces of shrimp and fries. The fries could've been a bit thinner for better quality/crispy and creamiest. Just a teensy thinner though. They were on the verge of being potato wedges. And the recipe for the breading on the shrimp needs to be redone ASAP. Maybe take some of Popeyes secrets or something but that bread tasted like it was still batter and low quality ingredients. The place itself is nice. Lots of cool Forrest decorations, a gift shop, and outdoor and bar style seating. Prices are a bit more reasonable here compared to other Miami restaurants, but still not the best. And service is overly relaxed, unconcerned for my liking.

Hit this place for lunch after our flight for our cruise. Cool place with lots of memorabilia from the movie. Service was really good! Food was decent and really hit the spot. Had Shrimp Cocktail, Mahi Mahi, a Fried/panko Shrimp Basket and some hush pups....we really enjoyed the meal.

Became aware of it by chance through a photo of the Forrest Gump Bank. The food was very tasty and the restaurant's layout was great. A completely different experience. It's been a long time since I saw the film, but I remembered a few things.
