I found this place by pure chance as I got off the bus at the wrong stop. I went in for directions but chose to stay for a coffee and one of their Empanadas as they looked delicious. I was not disappointed. A mother and her son have just recently taken over the business and they seem to be doing a thoroughly good job so far. It's only a short walk from the busy part of Little Havana which makes it a great place to start if you're in the area. Definitely more local than touristy. I look forward to returning there when I'm back in Miami 😬
If you are on the trolley bus there is a stop outside the cafe.

The empanadas are ridiculously thick, not at all like Venezuelan empanadas. The man working there is extremely rude, won’t ever come back. The lady is nice.

Tremendous empanadas, they make them in theMoment in front of you, they don't deny you anything, I bought cheese and each empanada weighed about half a kilo. Excellent. In 5 years in Miami, the best Venezuelan empanadas I have ever eaten.

The tastiest and most generous filled Venezuelan Empanadas I have bought in Miami. Fresh dough ? and the perfect side of garlic cilantro sauce!
