Yesterday I met up with a friend for lunch and she suggested Cacique. I had never been there and wanted to check it out. Cacique has been around for many years in downtown Miami and has kept its Cuban vibe. It is very popular with the county employees because of its close location, good food, and reasonable prices. It is casual and the staff are friendly. It is always busy there. They do have table service.
I ordered the Vaca Frita with black beans and rice. It was good but not the best that I have had. My friend ordered a Tuna Sandwich with fries. Hers was good also. Our server was super nice. Service was prompt and friendly by Nina.
Parking is not the easiest because it is in the business district, but there are parking garages nearby.

This was such a pleasant surprise! We were going to the HistoryMiami museum and stumbled upon it and decided to stop in. I think they have their usual crowd and we were unexpected so their initial reaction to us was sort of caustic but that changed quickly and we were seated and served with no issues. Service was great and so was the food. It was more home cooked meals vibes than “restaurant-grade”. Very generous portions and fairly priced as well.

I had an amazing experience here it was my first time and I felt right at home they are very catering to the lunch crowd that has to be done by a certain time to get back to work. The food was very reasonably priced especially for the area and I was treated with the utmost love and respect. There is a reason why they have been around for over 15 years I will be coming back it was an amazing experience

Been going to this location for about 30 years and today was the worst experience ever there. I did't see the other ladies there that I encounter a lot for many years. Decided to go by to see them. The lady that was there totally ignored me along with three other people that was there for about 5 minutes. Then wanna ask me after standing there 5 mins, did I wanna order. Like really what am I standing there for. I'm a great tipper, but she got nothing!!! I was very very upset. NEVER AGAIN UPDATE: And to add SHE DOESN'T SMILE EITHER!!! She looks very serious!!! She was smiling a little with the cop tho. Guess she have her picks on who she smiles with!!! Just UNEXCEPTABLE,!!!! View your cameras so you can see that what I'm saying is ACCURATED? Need pointers for the other 2 young ladies that has been dealing with me for years on how GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE should be!!!!!!
