I like the food here, but today February 19, 2026 I came to pick up an order,I spend $13.78. However, my bank transactions says $16:48 when I ask why I was overcharged they said, ask your bank. Be careful a lot of companies are doing this, Don Pan bakery at 27 avenue also did the same to me. The receipt says an amount, but the bank transactions another.

Sadly lately I can only have delivery now and this is the location they use, terrible, burn chicken or half cooked, what a difference from the one I used at Dixie and 27 ave.

Consistently the worst location in Miami and broward. Sadly the closest one to my home. They gave me all breast meat, and burned at that, in the family meal. They also always under fill the rice.
Very full. So the service is very slow and it was after 2 pm. Bathroom were not cleaned properly, water around the floor. The tables in the main salon were not clean and garbage can overloaded...That happens when the managers stayed in their office and doesn't walk around their store.

I gave this place one star, not because of the food, but because of the manager's poor customer service skills. The chicken and black beans and rice were good. Unfortunately, we found a piece of hair in our soda cup. What made it so awful was that it was not discovered until we tried to get a refill. This is not acceptable. I brought this to the cashier's attention who said he'd let the manager know. At no time while we dined did the manager approach us.
I asked to speak with the manager when we were leaving. His nonchalant attitude and response that he wasn't told about the incident annoyed me.

I had a great experience at Pollo Tropical! The chicken was cooked perfectly — juicy and full of flavor. The rice and beans were spot on, and everything tasted fresh. Service was super fast and friendly, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely coming back soon!
