The service was great. The food was not. Definitely the worst French onion soup that I've ever tasted. The broth wasn't too horrible, but the one piece of bread in the soup was a mini brick (nearly chipped a bicuspid) and there was more cheese along the rim than inside the bowl; and there was hardly any cheese along the rim, so...yeah.

It is a nice place. The prices are a bit steep but it is Nordstrom. My friend got her steak medium well but she said the meat was kind of tough.

2 stars because food is delicious. However, every Nordstrom with cafe has table service. Here you have to order your food at register before you are seated. Kinda makes me feel like I'm at a very expensive denny's.

I literally got served a shrimp salad with a fried grasshopper in the middle of my food. I swear on my life you can’t make this up. I called over the restaurant manager and showed her, and even she didn’t know what to say to that. Never coming back to a Cafe Bistro chain again.
