I was in this place yesterday arriving in Miami fleeing the intense cold, I followed the recommendation of Google live music and good food at first I was perfect and close to the airport. The wine was horrible, bitter, the food mediocre, I think a sandwich from the neighboring Wendy's would have been exquisite, the music was better but it did not meet expectations. And the best thing when you ask for the bill they charge you before giving you a detailed receipt of what you consume. By the way, for being Miami I expected the charges included and of course additional tip

I was extremely disappointed with the performance by BAMBOLEO. This was, by far, the worst band I’ve ever seen! For a $30 ticket, I expected much more, especially given the venue's history of hosting talented artists.
The music was chaotic, and it felt more like they were screaming than singing. Many people in the audience left early, which speaks volumes about the quality of their performance. It was a complete waste of money for me.
I can't understand how they are performing in a nice venue where more skilled musicians have played in the past. I would not recommend this band to anyone.
My husband is a teacher musian we know what we are talking about .

She was super attentive and charismatic, always checking on us. Her service was excellent! Hope to come back soon, and I really hope she’ll be on shift!

La Mesa Doral is an incredible spot! The moment you walk in, you feel the vibrant Latin energy — great music, beautiful decor, and an amazing atmosphere. The food was delicious, full of flavor and perfectly presented. The drinks were just as impressive, especially the cocktails! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly even though the place was busy. It’s the perfect spot for dinner, drinks, and a fun night out with friends. Highly recommend La Mesa Doral for anyone who loves great food and a lively vibe!

We recently celebrated my sister’s baby shower at La Mesa and had the most amazing experience! The food was Delicious and the service was spectacular. Letty our server was beyond amazing! She didn’t skip a beat and made sure we had everything we needed and some! I highly recommend having your Next family function here because they were amazing with our group! I will definitely be back!

Review for La Mesa – Friday Night Visit
I had a very disappointing experience at La Mesa this past Friday night. To begin with, the cover charge was $20 per person, plus an additional $10 for valet—so before even stepping inside, you’re down $50 per couple. For a restaurant (not a nightclub), this pricing is excessive, especially given what followed.
The service was extremely poor. Our server was clearly inexperienced and took an unreasonable amount of time for basic tasks. The bartender also seemed untrained; my drink was nearly undrinkable. The drinks overall were badly made, and certainly not worth the prices charged.
To make things worse, a service fee was automatically added to the bill—which I found completely unjustified considering how terrible the service was.
The food was average at best, nowhere near the level you’d expect given the high prices and pretentious presentation. For the area, this kind of pricing and service level is unacceptable.
As someone who works in the hospitality industry. I was honestly embarrassed on their behalf. Charging people $20 to walk into a restaurant only to receive subpar service, bad drinks, and mediocre food is outrageous.
I would not recommend La Mesa to anyone looking for good service, good drinks, or a good overall experience. There are far better places in the area that actually value their guests.
