Had given this place a chance over the weekend since all other places were full and was honestly disappointed. Service was good, timely and professional and restaurant was nice. But food was bland and boring, my gf agreed and risotto wasn't good at all. Only thing we enjoyed was wine, 170 dollars later. Would not recommend for that price.

Absolutely exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was refreshingly amazing warm, attentive, and genuinely caring in a way that’s rare to find these days.
I was craving a classic carbonara, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and without hesitation they offered to make it for me. That alone speaks volumes. And let me tell you… it was phenomenal. Rich, perfectly balanced, authentic, and made with so much care easily one of the best carbonaras I’ve ever had.
Every single server was exquisite: attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, kind, and truly passionate about what they do. You can feel the pride they take in both the food and the experience they create for their guests.
This wasn’t just a meal it was hospitality at its finest. I’ll be thinking about this place for a long time and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend.

I came here for my friend’s birthday on Wednesday last week. The place itself looked like a small spot from the outside but once inside it felt warm, cozy and nicely decorated. We were immediately welcomed and seated right away. The attention from the staff was great. The server said happy birthday to my friend as soon as we sat down. I also loved how everyone who was leaving the restaurant, would say bye to us. It felt like we were all friends. They also played music that made the environment more welcoming.
As an appetizer, we tried the fried calamari. From the moment they brought it to the table and I smelled it, I knew it was going to taste good. And I was right. The calamari was big and delicious. It’s the best and freshest calamari I’ve had. To eat, I tried the Risotto Dolce Vita and it was phenomenal. The shrimp that it came with were big and tasty. All the flavors from the dish combined very well together making this dish the best risotto I’ve tried. When it was time for dessert, the staff sang happy birthday to my friend as they brought a chocolava. They wrote happy birthday on the plate, which I thought it was nice detail. The chocolate cake was warm and moist and it paired very well with the vanilla ice cream.
I absolutely loved my experience here and I plan to return.

Overall very positive. Although in a mall next to a dollar store. Interior is nice and service excellent. Food was good but somewhat over-engineered- would be nice to have a couple of pasta dishes with simple ingredients.
Solid dinner with good service but food had too many heavy sauces and special meals and pricing were too complicated, even after our good waiter patiently explained them
Always a pleasure to dine at Portofino Our server Brady is a true professional and makes the dining experience very special Keep up the good work
Don't ever sit outside. The waiters will check on you every 20 minutes. The food was literally average. Nothing special at all. Probably my last time visiting this place, after 15 years.

Very pleasant experience at Caffeine Portofino. We had 7pm dinner reservations & when we arrived the restaurant was packed but after a few minutes the table became available. Lively with great ambience, our dinners were delicious and staff were excellent.
We had an absolutely terrible experience. The food took forever. The service was abysmal. We sent three plates back out of seven. The manager didn't seem to care and was told ““ it's a busy night. I will never return there.

Did not have much expectation of this restaurant since it was not highly rated on Google. I am glad to say the food was very tasty!
I was skeptical about this place after reading about other people’s reviews; I thought it would be a let down. Also the pictures of the food didn’t look good either. To my surprise the food tasted delicious. The pasta and sauce were cooked perfectly - not too salty, balanced and very flavoursome.
I’ll def be back to try other dishes!
I thought I would do something nice by ordering some takeout Italian from this place for me and my girlfriend. When I arrived to pick up the food, $23 lobster ravioli turned into $36 and $26 spaghetti frutto di mare turned into $40. I reviewed the menu and called from Yelp. They told me they no longer worked with Yelp and pointed to the menu book. I got 5 measly pieces of lobster ravioli and spaghetti with no sauce with a seafood mix I could have bought from Publix and put together myself. Somehow even the little bread rolls I was given had to have been two days old because they were rock-solid. Mind you, someone literally touched them and still decided to throw them in a bag for my order. This was an incredibly disappointing experience and the most mediocre Italian food I've had.

The food is outstanding in its quality, preparation, presentation, and taste. We would eat there weekly rather than yearly if it were not for the kind of music they play. It undermines all the other outstanding aspects of the experience. They need to discover calm, romantic classical, or opera.
Great food, great ambiance, great service! Fantastic Italian - hard to find the really good ones..
Our family's go to hidden gem for special occasions. Cant go wrong with this place. The food, the service, the ambiance, are all outstanding.
