My husband is the one always ordering from Canton Chinese food, for his birthday and having family coming I went to ordered for the first time. I asked for help about the catering menu and the general manager, Ricardo Camargo, was not only helpful with the menu, but so nice letting me know what to order based on the family coming. The next day the order was ready and Ricardo himself carried every thing to my car. All the food was great, and I was impressed with the personal service. Highly recommended.

I miss the old Cantons atmosphere. This new modern version is ok but it lacks the family-ness ambiance to dine in. So I just go for the takeout. Teddy, who has worked there for years, is still the friendliest of all the employees!

1 star for food quality. Very salty chicken and vegetable stir fry with cubed salty chicken. It was horrible. Cubed chicken? They also sent old, dried brown rice. However, they get 10 stars for having a manager deliver fresh white and brown rice when they don't make deliveries. I had placed an Uber Eats order and they sent me fresh rice. I sent the old, crunchy rice back to the chef. Customer Service A#- Food quality F-. Sorry Canton we have been Canton customers for over 20 years. The new menu years ago was limited when they did their Sushi Maki thing. However, their food keeps getting worse and worse. We will not ever order again.

They underserve you when ordering take out on delivery apps and in-person. If you order in person and eat there the poke bowls specifically has more fish. It’s not the bowl presentation that is fooling you. I actually weighed the food and they are scamming you!!!!!!!!! You want your money worth eat there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg what a great dining experience! I have been eating at Canton by Dadeland Mall on US 1 since I was a little kid. We googled the directions and when we arrived it said Sushi Maki but little did I know that this location has both Canton and Sushi Maki. I drove all the way from Homestead so I was definitely relieved, personally I think they need to put a bigger sign for Canton as well because it just says Sushi Maki. Anyways I was able to get my REAL Chinese food fix! The food was amazing, the service was also great, but what made our evening great was the special attention that Teddy gave us! He kept coming around and asking us if we were ok, and also kept thanking us for driving from so far. Plus we also had the best dessert!!! We will definitely be back!! Thanks again Teddy, see you soon! What a pleasant evening.

This location is now a Sushi Maki, however they still offer and serve very limited menu items of Canton Chinese food. If you’re looking for delicious authentic Canton Chinese Restaurant food DO NOT eat here. The service was ok but the food was mediocre at best.
