Mom and pops type place where the food never disappoints.
Since no one in the restaurant was speaking English, I figured this had to be the real deal (not so fast)... I ordered the Grilled Shredded Chicken Vaca Frita de Pollo w/platano ma duro & rice and black beans (it also included a small bag of sliced, buttered (or greased), toasted French bread ?).Pros: Chicken was moist & seasoned well. Fried plantains were not overcooked & also seasoned well.Cons: Rice & beans were not arroz con frijoles as pictured onthemenu. It was more like microwave white rice with a bowl of uninspired canned blackbeans as another side. The toasted bread resembled hard bread that was left out on the counter and had a flavor of used Crisco lard rather than freshly toasted bread. To Cao it off, after asking two separate people if there were utensils in the bag (in Spanish), I walk back to my hotel and there's no plastic ware... not even a napkin. ??
The food is very delicious and the service is very fantastic too. He recommended this restaurant to me!

No frills Cuban restaurant with walk up window for take out orders! Food was good portion inexpensive but a little bland which could probably of been corrected with salt and pepper but I got take out and forgot to ask for it! Mainly Spanish is spoken here with some broken EnglishParking is plentiful - lots of other Cuban Restaurants in this area! Would go again and just request more spices on my meal !Parking: In a strip mall easy parking!
