Miami has many steakhouses. This one feels personal. We had a great experience at Carnicero on Flagler Street , a new steakhouse in Miami that delivers very good quality for the price. The portions are generous but well balanced, the right amount of meat, well prepared, and clearly good quality for what you’re paying. You leave satisfied, not overwhelmed. We started with corvina Ceviche . The presentation was beautiful. For me, it was good but not my personal favorite, though everyone else at the table loved it, so clearly a crowd pleaser! In terms of comparison, Carnicero feels like a step up from Toro Loco, especially when it comes to meat quality and atmosphere which I think is better here. That said, Toro Loco still wins on sauces, and their yuca frita remains stronger in my opinion. Overall, Carnicero offers a very good steakhouse experience, with solid execution, fair pricing, and a menu that works well for groups but also for more casual dates. Great service, kind servers, great food and drinks. The wait was not long at all and the food was fresh. The only complaint for atmosphere was the unisex bathroom cleanliness. It was very dirty and had not been serviced, I recommend they tend to the cleanliness of the bathroom more often.
