Expensive mediocre food with a side order of poor service. Not worth the stop to try Carrot Express. I could not be paid to eat at this chain again.

I ordered one of the only vegan options on the menu that isn’t a salad. I got a southwest style bowl with black beans, a vegan meat, avocado, pico de gallo, and fried plantains over a bed of rice and topped with a cilantro dressing. The beans were bland, the Vega meat had an unpleasant taste and texture of very wet meat, and the fried plantains added nothing to the meal. I believe the hope was the dressing would cover up the lack of flavor but it overwhelmed everything. Customers are spending a lot of money to eat poorly prepared food that is bombed with cilantro lime dressing in hopes of convincing people it’s good and worth the price. Chipotle is often not great, but the not-great-bowls there are better than the more expensive option here.

The service left a lot to be desired. I asked the guy behind the counter a question about one of their donuts which was “is the donut vegan?”. I asked because there was some confusion over the labeling between the POS and the physical plaques in the store. The guy asked me what vegan meant. I don’t know how anybody works in food service and doesn’t know dietary terms like vegan or vegetarian, especially when they’re on the menu you’re selling.

The last note I have is on the cleanliness of the restaurant. A lot can be said about the state of a bathroom and this venue needs to do some cleaning. The restroom area was a bit dirty feeling and smelly. The staff needs to pay more attention to deeply cleaning the restroom, and probably multiple times per day.

Please, Carrot Express 🥕do better, be better. Your customers deserve it.

Took a long time (15 min for a single wrap), you can’t type @ to add an email address for receipt, and the numbers are hidden to add your table number, somebody didn’t think it through

Amazing service from Luis , fast and efficient, very attentive , Everything that my family and I ordered was extraordinary, from the juices he blended were amazing and my açaí bowl was to die for, I will be back to this location officially my favorite , thanks to the manager Deiralyn for checking in our order to make sure everything came out right , was very nice to my kids as well that they want to come back , cookies where amazing as per the children they each got one , I wish I would’ve gotten one for my self , can’t wait to be back ! Also location was very tidy and clean thanks again

Carrot Express in Midtown is one of those places that makes eating healthy feel easy—and actually enjoyable. Every time I come here, the food tastes fresh, clean, and well-made, with portions that are generous without feeling heavy. The ingredients always seem high quality (crisp greens, flavorful proteins, and sauces that don’t taste “diet” at all), and everything is put together with care instead of being thrown in a bowl and rushed out.

What I appreciate most is the consistency: whether it’s a busy lunch rush or a quieter time, the service stays friendly and efficient, and orders come out quickly. The space is also bright and clean, which makes it a comfortable spot to grab something on the go or sit and eat for a bit. It’s a perfect option in Midtown when you want something that tastes great but still fits a healthy routine.

If you’re looking for a reliable go-to for salads, bowls, wraps, or a quick smoothie, this location delivers every time. I’ll definitely keep coming back and I highly recommend it.

Ordered a sesame bagel sandwich from Carrot Express, and it was excellent. The presentation was clean, fresh, and exactly as expected. The ingredients were crisp, the bagel was perfectly toasted, and everything arrived neatly packed with attention to detail.
Appreciate the consistency and the quality — simple, healthy, and delicious. Will definitely order again.

I absolutely love the customer service experience at this Carrot Express! The entire staff Dei, Almou, and Claudia are so sweet. I once had a small issue with an order, and they fixed it right away with no hassle at all. Every time I come in, they’re welcoming, generous, and kind. It feels so good to walk into a place where you’re genuinely greeted with a smile.

My go-to order is the Blue Spirulina Smoothie and the Lentil Soup —both are amazing! These young ladies definitely deserve a raise; their great attitude and customer service keep me coming back. My favorite place by far!

I ordered a 2x1 from Uber Eats that still cost $33 and what they did is to take 1 portion and divide into 2 bowls. This store’s mission exists to screw their clients. Never buying from you again.
