I came to Casa Florida twice for the Garden Party hosted by the Miami Film Festival. It’s got a distinct look to it, very spacious but not at first glance. They hosted live music which added to the atmosphere. Great drink selection too, love the beers and wine. Same with the food, loved it. Overall it was a great place to host a killer party. The only thing I urge you to do is Uber here. The name Casa Florida is no joke. This place looks like it use to be an actual home and it is located in an actual residential neighborhood. So there is no official parking spot for the place, it’s all street side parking. And it will most likely be parking far away like I did. I ended up walking 8 minutes to get to Casa Florida, not bad but unnecessary honestly. Also there seemed to be only one bathroom, so if you gotta go be prepared to wait in line and missed out on enjoying the experience.
Parking: It’s street parking in a residential area. If the place gets a lot of patrons then parking will become difficult to find. You might end up having to park far and walking back. I recommend you uber here.

What brunch has no coffee available? Food was pretty good but service was terribly slow. I had to go inside the kitchen myself to get utensils, since they brought out a lava cake for 5 people with 1 spoon and the server was nowhere in sight. There were only about 2 other tables aside from us, so i can't imagine how long it would take if they actually had customers. I do not recommend the sangria since it was 80% ice...the other drinks seemed ok. I would not return for brunch....it may be a cute place to hang out at night.

The place looks super nice but save yourself and don’t eat ⛔️ go just for a cocktail. Food is extremely bad and poor quality. We tasted 3 plates and all of them very bad. Bagel with an old cheese, lobster roll with shell chunks and mediocre empanadas ??

A dream!Victor from the Selina reception who made an upgrade and let us stay right next to the party space and was always attentive and awesome!Devon the event manager who was the sweetest and most dedicated person I ever had the pleasure to work with, she was going the extra mile to have everything perfect for us.The GM Glenn made sure everything run smooth y and had great ideas about the wedding space set up.The chef Johanna OMG! They have really downgraded so disappointing. They no longer have the cheese platter which was amazing, ordered the avocado toast with mariquitas and it came with no plantain chips. We asked the server where are the plantain chips and she said it doesn't come with it?? So why is it on the menu. So sad to see this hole in the wall go down hill management needs to step it up??
