Visited today for assorted pasteles and empanadas. This place has been our preferred choice for Cuban baked goods for many years. Our experience today was disappointing. The thin guava pasteles which have always been a favored specialty, were overcooked to the point that they were difficult to bite into and chew, and they hardly had filling. All the baked empanadas we ordered were overcooked. Their fillings were very limited and dry and the pastry was so overcooked it resembled a cracker. Frankly, we concluded that this product should have been discarded instead of sold. All that we ordered left much to be desired and service would benefit from training in professionalism. Sadly, we will not be returning and are no longer able to recommend this business.

Love the fact that they are open early, and that the staff is very pleasant, that being said. The bakery is just bad. When one goes to a bakery early in the morning, one expect fresh baked breads, not the ones that they couldn't sell two days ago. I hope they can improve their quality, I gave this place two tries expecting a positive outcome, however, it was always the same stale rancid bread.

They do not serve on a first-come, first-served basis, they serve the longest-serving customers first, according to the girls, and almost every day they have a different girl. I don't know the reason. I know when they will teach him manners
very good quality

I am reviewing location on SW 8 street and 132 Avenue as I have not been to the others.
Staff are always friendly and attentive. The bakery is cleaned, organized and items labeled well. The pastries are fresh and the pan con tortilla is delicious.
I highly recommend this location!

Food is good but some of the ladies working here are extremely rude. Very unwelcoming and just plain rude.

Today I went to this bakery to eat a bun with steak with my husband and at first the girl was upset that I asked her to remove the tomato from the sandwich, then I tried the steak and it tasted rotten, when I took it out of the bread it was yellow, but well I thought it was because I was out of the cold oh something and today and I told the girl "that the steak had a very bad taste" she took it with bad form and told me "yes of course after you bit it" I think Ami that It is not correct for a worker to treat a customer like this when they have been given a bad tasting meal “I PAID FOR MY FOOD”. . The girl behaved very rudely and I became very upset by the way she treated me, slanted by other customers and my son and husband who were there. What a shame that having this bakery in front of my house I have to drive further from now on because of the bad treatment I received in this place, the only thing I wanted was for them to change my steak
