The Dead Flamingo isn’t usually my type of place since I don’t go to bars often, but I figured why not—and it was actually a good spot. There’s a lot of space, and the staff is cool and nice. They only have one pool table, which sucks because I didn’t get a chance to play. I’m not a big drinker, but I will say the drinks are strong. The biggest downside is the parking—it’s very inconvenient and honestly sucks.

Been coming to this bar for the past couple of months and it’s become one of my go-to spots. The pool table is great, the vibe is relaxed, and happy hour is honestly one of the best around. Drinks are well-priced and you actually feel like you’re getting good value for your money. Perfect place to unwind, play a few games, and hang out. Definitely recommend. S/O to the bartenders they’re great.

We showed up after midnight and it was the only place open around. Our group coming from winning the National Championship against Miami. We were greeted outside by a nice guy that worked there that encouraged us to come in and celebrate Indiana's win.

He escorted us into a crowd of boos as the bar had a watch party for local Miami fans. The employee told everyone to be gracious and welcome us to their local bar.

The employees were great, they were gracious and individually came up to us and made sure we felt comfortable and if anyone gave us any problems to let them know.

Patrons came up to us all night wanting to talk about the game and were all so gracious in defeat.

The vibes were great, the DJ was awesome and the price spectacular. We bought a lot of drinks and stayed until 3am.

100% recommend to visitors and locals. Will go again the next time we are in Miami.

After a five-hour drive from Jacksonville to Miami, I made the critical error of thinking, “I’ll pee later.” Two hours in, I knew I had to go. Forty-five minutes from our destination, I told myself I could hold it. Spoiler: I could not. Add Miami stop-and-go traffic and a seatbelt that felt personally offended by my bladder, and things got dire fast.

We finally arrive, can’t find the entrance to our Airbnb, and I’m officially in emergency mode. I start speed-walking down the block, pass a gas station with the classic “bathroom for employees only” sign (rude), and then I hear music. Blues or jazz—honestly, it sounded like salvation.

I dive into this bar, pass a few guys playing pool, breeze past a very polite “hey, welcome,” and make a beeline for the bathroom. Let me tell you—one of the cleanest bar bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Spotless. Automatic lights. Zero regrets.

After surviving the ordeal, I felt bad for basically storming the place like a man on a mission, so I sat at the bar and ordered a tequila shot as a thank-you. When I told the bartender I just wanted to close out and pay for using the restroom, he laughed and said the shot was on the house.

Clean bathroom. Kind bartender. Great vibes. Live music that slapped. This place unknowingly saved a man’s dignity, and for that alone it deserves five stars.

Would I come back intentionally next time?
Absolutely.
Hopefully under less
 pressure.

Talk about hospitality. My wife and I are industry folk and we stumbled in looking for a quick shot and we wound up staying for 3+ hours and closed the place down. The service was IMMACULATE. Bartenders and porters were all amazing. They handled me exactly how I would’ve handled me if the roles were reversed. Greta job guys. All of you. Seriously. Keep doing what you are doing. We don’t even live in miami but we will be back. Thank you again

Piero (spelling) made the best kamikaze I've ever had. It's my go to drink, so that's saying a lot. The atmosphere and service is always amazing. I've been coming here for years and the place consistently provides one of the best Miami experiences. I haven't eaten here, but if the drinks, service and entertainment is this great, I'm sure the food is

Solid experience but medical emergency ended everyone’s 2026 NYE night. Two people were evacuated into ambulances

Good ambience and excellent customer service. The bartender was nice and patience explained all the “Christmas Drinks” that they offered. We enjoyed the music and the atmosphere

If you haven’t been to The Dead Flamingo yet, you’re missing out. From their themed drinks to their Mi Casa Tu Casa pop up, there’s a reason we keep going back.
Each drink I’ve had doesn’t disappoint! They always have special events that go on with extra they put in to go the extra mile.
From the moment you walk in all of the staff makes you feel like you’re home, my personal favorite is Chris. Attentive, quick, kind, funny, and more. I don’t have enough words to speak of him and the entire crew. They are definitely going to leave a lasting legacy on Calle Ocho.

My favorite spot! Not only the atmosphere is welcoming, the team of bartenders behind the bar is truly gifted. A couple of my favorite tenders are Max, Moog, and Raul. Good drinks, good vibes, and good people.
