My party of 4 went for a birthday celebration, we got 4 cocktails, which were all good but the server was uninformed on the ingredients of one of the cocktails, this was important as we had a strawberry allergy at the table, 3 appetizers including the oysters, the tuna tartar & the calamari. The oysters were good however extremely poorly shucked, someone may need a bit more training in that department as they were still completely stuck to the shell and had to be dug out at the table, should’ve brought my own oyster knife. The tuna tartar was delicious and the calamari was well cooked. The server was extremely inattentive and it took probably 25 min for us to even get appetizers put in, after appetizers it took another ~30 for our server to come back to get our entree orders, meanwhile we were out of cocktails and water. For entrees we ordered salmon (pan seared) which came out fried (this situation was not rectified in anyway) with a side of vegetables which was undercooked and completely unseasoned. Seafood risotto which in its entirety was over cooked, the Arborio rice was basically a paste, the octopus was overcooked and rubbery as were the shrimp, for a $42 entree it was a very small sad portion and came with 3 pieces of asparagus which were also over cooked and mush. The grilled branzino was fine, under seasoned and for $47?! Highway robbery, it’s Branzino not some delicacy, came with 3 halves of marble potatoes. I also ordered a glass of white wine which I watched sit at the bar for 10 minutes sweating away until our server finally came back and we had to ask for the wine a second time. Overall the dinner took over two and a half hours for two courses of food, the service was slow and then they slap you with an automatic 18% service charge and have the audacity to ask you for additional tip added at the end. I guess when you’re automatically making $50-70 per table why bother giving decent service. Definitely not worth the almost $400 we spent on dinner, can’t recommend this one.

We had a nice dinner, the Paella for two was delicious, and it was fun watching boats go by; however an 18% gratuity was added to our bill without us knowing that so with the over 20% we added we feel taken advantage of. Should the server let guests know about this, or just keep quiet, it seems less than honest to me? Just keep this in mind when you visit Casablanca.

After what was a wonderful business dinner we were shocked at the disappointing selection of after dinner liquor selection. I was also mortified upon being presented the check with a service charge on it that was not a gratuity for the waiter, but for the bus boys bartenders, hostess, and other parties that have very little involvement in our meal. I demanded to speak to the manager and had them removed the service charge because it would have actually ended up in a tip that was $20 less than I would've left the server. Also the embarrassing 15% manager discount off the check for the complete inadequacy of the after meal service was unacceptable.

We were in town for 1 night and found this gem! The food and service was fantastic. We had coconut shrimp and calamari for an appetizer. The orange marmalade paired with the coconut shrimp is a chef's kiss. Surf and turf, shrimp scampi and seafood pasta for the main course. We left our plates clean! Sooooo good.

😤 we didnt even get a chance to go inside the restaurant. the valet parking attendant was very rude to us. we parked. we asked him about the parking price. we were confused about the difference between regular parking price and VIP. but he just threw us one word “$25”. then he left us and take care another luxurious Cadillac car. after directing the luxury car he went back to the counter without even looking at us. and so we a group of 4 had to leave in the heavy rain to find another more friendly restaurant. the incident happened at around 12:38 on September 5, 2025.

Casablanca on the River is an absolute gem! The fish is incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and every bite feels like quality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, paired with stunning views that make the experience even more special. Between the amazing food, the great vibes, and the beautiful setting, what more could you ask for? Definitely a must visit spot!
