We came for date night.
Everything was excellent. The service by Thomas was incredible, he was very attentive and made sure our food was good. The atmosphere was amazing. Food came very fast and was exceptional. Totaly worth the price you’re paying, I can’t stress enough how every bite was 10/10. The check was good for two and we had drinks, starter, side and each had a main course which seems perfectly reasonable. Highly recommend, I will be returning.
Thanks Thomas!

On Sunday, my friend and I came to Cassadonna to celebrate her birthday. We expected a beautiful evening. What we got instead was an unforgettable lesson in how not to run service.
1) As the evening got cold, we politely asked our server, Tomas O., to turn on the heater. He suggested turning off the fan. Innovative solution — just not the one we asked for. After several explanations and repeated requests, the heater was finally turned on, accompanied by a facial expression suggesting we had personally offended him.
2) We were never offered water. Not once. Interestingly, we observed other tables receiving water without having to beg for basic hydration rights.
3) When Tomas came to take our order, we managed to order coffee. Just coffee. Before we could continue, he turned around and disappeared like we were in a magic show. Unfortunately, no rabbit and no food appeared.
4) My friend’s coffee arrived in a chipped cup. Is this rustic chic? Vintage aesthetic? We also didn’t receive spoons. After asking for them (and asking again), they never came. She had to stir her sugar with a fork — in a chipped cup. Very avant-garde.
5) When we finally caught him again to place our food order, we were informed that we had to order everything at once because the kitchen does not accept separate orders. This rule had not been mentioned earlier — perhaps it’s a surprise feature.
6) When the food arrived, it came with spoons only. No forks. Eating salad and risotto with a spoon is… an experience. It felt less like upscale dining and more like a very quiet memorial gathering. All we needed was soft background violin music.
7) I ordered the tomato & burrata salad with prosciutto. It arrived without prosciutto. When I pointed this out, Tomas confidently informed me that the salad never comes with prosciutto — despite the menu clearly stating “add prosciutto.” Bold strategy: gaslight the customer instead of checking the menu.
8) When it started raining, we asked to move under cover. One dish was relocated. The rest of our food and drinks apparently chose to remain where they were. Despite multiple reminders, they never arrived.
9) When we asked for the check, we were handed a payment terminal showing only the total amount. We requested a printed receipt. Silence. Only after walking to the register and insisting did Thomas print one — still maintaining the same consistent expression of inconvenience.
Needless to say, we went somewhere else for dessert. At that point, even a gas station cookie would have felt like five-star service.
I have genuinely never experienced such dismissive and chaotic service. For a place that presents itself as upscale, this was shockingly unprofessional 🤮
Yesterday my friend and I came to your restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst service experience I’ve ever had. Our server was Tomas O.
It started when we politely asked if the outdoor heater could be turned on. He responded by saying he could turn off the fan instead. After asking three times, he finally moved and turned on the heater, rolling his eyes and clearly showing how annoyed he was by our request.
He then asked what kind of water we wanted and told us there was no tap water available — only bottled water. When we were ready to order, he insisted that he needed our entire order at once or the kitchen would not accept it, which is simply not true. When our food arrived, the burrata salad we ordered with added prosciutto came without it. He told us that nothing could be added to that salad, even though the menu clearly offers the option to add items.
Shortly after, it started raining and we asked to be moved under the covered area. He transferred only one plate, leaving the second entrée and all of our drinks behind. After waiting quite a while, we had to remind him about the remaining items. He brought one more plate but still left our drinks. We asked twice for the dessert menu and never received it.
When it was time to pay, we were not provided with a printed check and were instead presented with a payment terminal displaying only the total. We were not informed that gratuity had already been included. This is not about the money — it is about transparency and trust, and unfortunately the situation felt misleading rather than accidental.
I worked as a restaurant manager for many years, so I truly understand how much effort, money, and dedication goes into building a business. That’s why it’s especially disappointing to see how one person can damage the overall experience so significantly. Everyone makes mistakes — people can be inexperienced or tired, and that’s completely understandable. I am always patient and empathetic. But this felt like a mix of rudeness, dishonesty, and clear disregard for guests.
I would also like to mention that the other servers who assisted at our table were kind and attentive.
You have a beautiful interior, good food, and lovely guests. Unfortunately, the service we received was absolutely unacceptable.
This is the first negative review I have ever written in my life, but I have also never experienced service this poor.

I had the pleasure of dining at Casadonna for a private event, and everything—from the food to the service—was absolutely exceptional. The menu was thoughtfully curated and every dish was bursting with flavor. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and memorable experience. Elegant atmosphere, incredible views, and delicious cocktails.

The restaurant was lovely with an ocean view and really nice vibe all around. The steak was delicious and so was the focaccia and truffle fries.
My reasons for 4 stars: the “crispy” artichoke dish was soggy and way over salted (we didn’t finish it), the broccolini was also massively over salted (didn’t finish it), I asked for mayonnaise with the truffle fries but it never came, I asked for a blanket but our waitress never confirmed if they had any so I eventually asked another to turn a heater on near us, I also didn’t appreciate that our waitress suggested we tip her in addition to the 20% included when I asked if it was included.

This was my 3rd and last time at this restaurant. I made a reservation for 2pm and we didnt sit until 2:50pm. When we got to the table it was flithy and there were food on the seats and all over the floor. The waiter didnt come for another 25 min until we said something to the manager. Food was missing from the brunch. No oysters left, no ceviche left, pasta was gone. Worst brunch experience. I DO NOT recommend coming here for brunch.

The place is gorgeous. No question about it. People who are there are sleek and beautiful. It is a place to see and be seen. Service is really good but (and this is a BIG BUT) when it comes to the menu it is truly disappointing. Ordinary and few options which creates quite an anticlimactic experience, after all you are in a beautiful place. And the wine list is just absurd. One can’t find any option cheaper than $85 which, to me, it is bad. In summary if one is looking for a fancy place but doesn’t care much about food and the cost of wine, it will be fine.
