First time trying this caterer at a recent event. Catering was nothing out of this world, but what took the cake, which I have never heard of, is that “Catering the Event” took the leftover food, after the event was over. Respectfully so, every food brought by the caterer belongs to the paying customer. Very distasteful, no pun intended.

Susan Bleemer at Catering The Event is worth everything you have! She not only did an incredible job with my bat mitzvah and my brother’s bar mitzvah parties 14 years ago, but she most recently made our dream wedding come to life! Susan is incredibly creative and has an idea for everything. She truly makes you feel special. Due to Covid my grandfather could not attend my large wedding, so Susan went out of her way to work with the venue to make sure everything was set up early for a private showing for my grandfather. She even stood with me, trying to keep me calm while waiting to walk down the aisle. The décor for our event was so much more than I imagined. When creating the menu for our wedding, the first thing she asked is what are some of our favorite foods. She based our décor and menu based on who we are as a couple, rather than cookie cutter options. She was able to combine both our cultural backgrounds to create a cohesive, incredible display. The top thing our guests still rave about ‘till this day… the food! Trust her judgment! We went with her suggestions, and they ended up being the biggest hits at the event!
