I enjoyed being able to go and indulge in this here blast from the past cause that’s exactly what it was chicken taste the same as it did. Plantain and picklies tasted fresh and well infused with spices and seasoning. They don’t make food like this anymore and I was grateful to have strike up so lucky to still be in the surrounding area and try it again after all these years. Definitely a delightful experience 😘😍🥰💯❤️

The oxtail was tender and so flavorful. That plus the rice + pikliz is perfection. The cashier at the front was patient and friendly. He helped a Spanish-speaking customer through a language barrier. 10/10 service. The restaurant is in a gas station so there's not much atmosphere, but it's clean. The oxtail plate is $28.24 if you pay cash. They give you enough food for 2 meals and the quality is worth the price.
This place is so popular, I hear an imposter is opening up at the gas station across the street...

I went to Cecibon yesterday and was greeted with the warmest smile. I was overly pleased from start to finish! I ordered the Fried Chicken Meal and the Oxtail Meal, and let me tell you — this was hands down the best fried fresh chicken I’ve ever had in my life. You can actually taste that it was made in fresh grease! 🔥
The pikliz had the perfect kick, the oxtails were seasoned to perfection and so tender the meat literally fell off the bone. The white rice? Omg — fluffy and flavorful, easily the best I’ve had. And the plantains were hot, soft, and perfectly sweet. 😍
This was honestly some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. I truly enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back. If you’re ever in Miami, stop by Cecibon — you won’t regret it! 🙌

The food was very good in very well seasoned I will be returning
It’s disappointing how some establishments forget that customer service is just as important as the food they serve. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get the chance to try anything at this location because the service—or lack thereof—completely turned me away.
When I walked in, there was an older man standing near the front, not behind the counter, watching TV. I assumed he was a customer waiting for his order. He didn’t greet me—just nodded. It wasn’t until I approached the counter that he slowly made his way behind it, still saying nothing. His focus remained on the television.
When I asked if any items were unavailable, he barely looked up and simply pointed while saying, “Oxtails.” That was it. No welcome, no engagement, no interest in serving a customer. It was around 8:45 PM—close to closing time—so it was clear he was just ready to be done for the day.
I had actually planned to place a large order and sample several items from the menu, but that experience made it clear my business wasn’t valued. So, I walked out.
Customer service makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this place failed before the food even had a chance.
Talk about restaurants in gas stations - this is a Haitian spot. To tell the truth we just had the fried chicken legs with plantain. So good. Made to order, hot and fresh. The chicken was nice and meaty done just right. The plantain is known elsewhere in town as tostones. They have a nice menu of lots of other dishes.
There are a half dozen tables with seats if you want to eat in, no atmosphere at all, but the food is really good.
Ey yo look at this picture and tell me if this doesn't look as good as I know it does. First time coming here but surely not the last. I've visited several carribean restraunts across miami and this one HITS DIFFERENT.
The location restraunt is clean with good atmosphere and helpful staff. I write this with saliva building at the corner of my mouth . This food smell phenomenonal .
Update : Theyve been hiking their prices up to ridicoulous amounts. That plate in picture used to be 13 now its 17 . Their pricing out there main demographic that eats this food. So I wonder how they plan to stay long term if the averge black american / hatian american can goto chef creole and pay 15 percent less for the same food.
If you've ever seen my previous reviews on most restraunts or business throughout miami. You know I don't B.S my reviews and I tell the facts. The facts are Cesibon in miami is an amazing unspoken gem in the city 🙌
P.S I know this doesn't matter to most people but what I thought was super neat was the pricing on food here. Most carribean spots tend to overcharge while providing low quality and quantity. But these folks have appropriate pricing that matches what id consider a generous serving size for great quality food .
For over two decades, I’ve been aware of this culinary gem, though my palate had only ventured as far as their chicken—a dish that, back in my chicken-eating days, was nothing short of divine. Even recently, I had fried chicken & rice and peas catered for a repast dinner.
Recently, I decided to broaden my horizons and indulged in their shrimp with fries and a side of sour soup juice.
The shrimp was a masterclass in seasoning—each bite bursting with a flavorful blend of spices that elevated the natural sweetness of the seafood. The fries were delicious as i am truly a fry afficionado. Lastly, the sour soup drink—a perfectly balanced, palate-cleansing delight that rounded out the meal beautifully.
This experience reaffirmed why this establishment has stood the test of time in my memory and why it remains a must-visit for anyone seeking a true Haitian culinary excellence.
