They served us fake fry plantains.
This should be a haitian restaurant, why are they serving fake fry plantains.
We were very disappointed driving from Broward to little Haiti for some good haitian food and that's not what we got.
We like the setting outside with some music playing.
Food was absolutely delicious! The griot was so tasty, and the rice n peas was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I’ve also tried the stewed conch, and fried conch💯

Worth every single penny! I enjoyed the flavor of the Creole shrimp and the rice was very tasty. Also, I'm usually not a fried plantain fan but these were perfect! The biggest Snapper I have ever gotten from any restaurant! And it was so flavorful! The sauce and pikliz sent it over the top! I dont think I'll order fried Snapper from anyone else ever! I can't wait to spin the block and try more from the menu!
Do you like fried Snapper?

Does anybody remember that brown cat that used to beg for food in the outside dining area? He was there for forever & he was really sweet but he was dirty and greasy, he stunk, and he was getting to be very sick. Well that cat lives in my house now. He got all the vet care he needed to get better, he's chubby & happy, and every time I go to Chef Creole I bring him back a little fried fish.
Update: After 6 months of fostering he went to live with his forever family and LOOK AT HIM NOW! <3
Chef Creole is great. The food is great. The people are great. The atmosphere is great. It's one of the best things about this amazing neighborhood.

I ordered griot here and was really disappointed. My plate was filled mostly with fat and bones instead of meat. I tried calling to complain but no one answered. When I went back in person, they first told me nothing could be done. After asking for a manager, a man with long dreads came out. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he offered a few extra pieces and then told me not to return if I don’t like fat because they serve all parts of the meat.
I’ve been to plenty of Haitian restaurants and I know griot can have some fat, but this was excessive to the point that I couldn’t eat my meal. Very poor customer service and overall bad experience.

Food is amazing! I see why the car lines are long lol! We ordered in the car line and then parked and ate under the covered seating! The staff was attentive and checked on us - we were celebrating so brought some champagne and staff offered to chill our bottle. I def would go back when I’m back in miami- oh we had the griot and could only eat half it was so much food!

We traveled from Central Florida and even went an extra hour out of my way to visit Miami because I missed Chef Creole’s restaurant. The customer service was great, and the conch fritters were made well.
However, I was disappointed with the griot—most of the pieces were overly fatty, which took away from the experience.
Also, while I was waiting, I asked for a simple cup of ice and was told that ice wasn’t given out unless purchased—for $3 a cup. Keep in mind, I had already bought an icy drink (whatever it’s called), so I wasn’t trying to get something for free. I just wanted some ice while I waited. I understand if that’s the policy, but it was a bit surprising.
