Yum!!! We were excited to try Haitian food after trying Cuban food. I prefer the Haitian food as it was good for the first helping and excellent the next day. We got so much chicken and legume from this wonderful takeout restaurant that we had enough for dinner, breakfast, and then lunch on the plane to Puerto Rico! I made the mistake of ordering legume thinking it would be beans but it was not a bad mistake as it was an amazing stew. Loved the boiled plantains and the rice is incredible. Loved the meat spices that are subtle and the lack of salt which I felt the Cuban food was way too salt forward though had more depth of flavor. The neighborhood and the place might look sketchy but you don’t need to worry at all! I highly recommend you try the food here.
