Based on the other reviews on Google, I decided to give this place a fair chance. I'm glad I did. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I use to be a huge fan of Canton in Coral Gables however, their quality has dropped and gone down immensely. I've been really disappointed with lack of descent and good local Chinese restaurants. I haven't been able to find a good quality local Chinese/cantonese restaurant however, I was quite happy and impressed with China Ocean in West Kendall. As a reference, I ordered the honey chicken, special fried rice, pepper steak, wonton soup, egg rolls and spring rolls for take out. The food was tasty and had less sodium compared to the other Chinese/cantonese restaurants. By the time I drove home the honey chicken was cold. I popped them in the air fry and they tasted just prefect and had a good enough crunch. My only recommendation is that the pepper steak was missing the green peppers in the dish. I will definitely be coming back to China Ocean. Thank you for your excellent service!

Looking for Chinese takeout I found this place and since then it has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant. The "spatial fried rice" is very delicious as well as the steamed dumplings are wonderful.

The people are nice but there is something I don't like about this business. The customers cannot see the kitchen, and it looks like they are always hiding it. Cleanliness is a big issue for me when it comes to food. I want to know how the kitchen looks. Unfortunately, there are way too many stories of Chinese food that are not clean.

I ordered Chinese food to be delivered to my house and nothing was there. My son who speaks perfect English was nothing and what they brought was terrible. We spent $36 and we had to vote. My son called again and the Chinese woman who doesn't speak English but in Chinese didn't understand it or I know he didn't understand I never buy food from that terrible place again if I don't put a star they won't publish it so I did put one but they don't even deserve one

Was looking for a new Chinese takeout as my usual go-to ones were either over-pricing &/or tasteless.. 2nd time ordering here to be fair.. at this place their price for dinner combos are still mostly under $10 which is excellent in these times.. however gave 3 stars due to some items that were just plain awful .. their egg rolls are just a mushy mess.. shrimp fried rice was terrible, looked like shrimp but tasted like some other sea creature .. roast pork was already hard in the special fried rice .. Hunan chicken was okay/edible .. will not be back .. still looking around!Parking: ample parking

Price per value and portions, this place is the best in the area hands down, specially their lunch offering. The food is also very good tasting.
