I have never given a one star review, but the day has come. My girlfriend and I were super excited since this restaurant had so much hype behind it. Let me tell you about our experience: first we walk in and sit at a table under a vent. The vent then leaks on me. I then asked to be changed to another table which was under a different vent as well (this ordeal took 5 min until another table freed up). This different table was also getting leaked on by the new vent. Since we didn’t want to do this whole wait again, we just moved the table physically a couple inches to dodge the leak which caused the table to be super wobbly. After 10 minutes of waiting for a server to take our order, we ordered a Cortadito, the breakfast burrito and the pancake. The breakfast burrito came out less than a minute after we ordered it. Clearly, it had been made a while ago as it was room temperature. Then I received the Cortadito, which was full of sugar. I had never asked for sugar, and then after 10 minutes we got the pancake. Was good but $17 worth, no. We then asked for extra syrup ($4 extra???). What kind of self respecting diner charges extra for syrup. Overall, I have never been so disappointed at a restaurant. I’m not sure who they bribed for their michellin bib. I attached a photo of the vents that you should watch out for if you eat here.

Great food and patio. Thank you for bringing back the recipe for the delicious cast iron pancake. For a while there it was very thin and not as tasty but the last few times we've been it's back to the original recipe. Please don't change it.

It’s a must when visiting Coconut Groove. Food is delicious, service was profesional and very friendly, and ambiance is top. Try the Arroz con Leche!!

The Abuelita's platter was the best flavored rice and beans I've had in a long time, not to count the delicious lechón that came with it! Guava and cheese pastelito is also a must try!

We waited for 50min to get a table and after order our food took more than an hour to be served. Waitress didn’t check in on us or explained what happened. Food was good but too bad the wait is way too long.
Very good service and good food — on the heavier side though. Suggestion: mention on the menu that the snapper is entirely fried. Very good service and cute space overall a good time!

This is a Cuban American diner. The breakfast dishes are American favorites with a Cuban twist. This seems to be a very popular place. However, if you are looking for traditional flavors, this is probably not for you. If you like to explore new flavors, you should give it a try.
I was underwhelmed by the experience. The food quality was good, the flavors were off for me, and the service was not commensurate with the price.
For me this was way over priced for what you get and nothing I would want to try again.
