Went to watch a movie on IMAX last week. Walked in to the theatre, all bright lights were on. Most seats were filthy, cup holders were all taped up, popcorn on the floor. We waited 35 min just for them to tell us it’s not working. Awful experience

I decided to treat my daughter to a movie & a play day at D@B so we chose this theater I'm not sure why this theater is open during remodeling,it looks like a construction site I felt like I needed on a hardhat while walking through the hall. They also had no where to put our drinks and there's tape covering the button on the seat we didn't even finish our movie.??
Recently renovated (still under renovations, I believe), service is good, and they typically have a lot of options for movies and showtimes. Food isn't amazing, but it's good enough (I usually just get popcorn and an ICEE), only thing that sometimes bothers me is that some of the new reclinable seats require a significant amount of weight, and there is no "lock" or button to adjust it. They also seemed to remove the food trays from the seats, or maybe only some seats have them, I'm not sure.I usually come here with my uncle and sometimes friends to watch movies and I've never had a bad experience, just mild annoyances and inconveniences. The guy who works in the front area inside the theatre is awesome, by the way. He is always super friendly and helpful. Sometimes, I wish his peers would match his energy!

The renovated IMAX looked good. But you need to put pressure to recline seats. And my weight was not enough (142 lbs) to maintain the pressure, the seat was pushing me back in the original position once I relax… there were no trays or place to put soda on the seats. And the worst part we had to leave because it was painfully loud!! I experience this for the first time in my life, even though I am a regular customer of movie theaters and particularly this one. just imagine, waiting for Dune 2, all excited to come, and having to leave because the sound is unbearable. My date had the same opinion.Also the service was very slow and poor as usual…

All this money we paid for movie and snacks and they can’t even put the air conditioner on. It was very uncomfortable to enjoy the movie during renovations. Bunch of kids talking throughout the movie cell phones going off. And not to mention it’s hard to find assign seats. Will not return.
