Accidental fire alarm went off 30 mins into the movie. Sat there for about 45 mins while they attempted to get the movie back on with no success, so we didn’t get to see the rest of it. Theater was humid and smelled moldy. However, the staff were nice and friendly.
Horrible experience from start to finish, the amount of mold in the ceilings and underneath floors needs to be checked out, the AC being off is crazy, the food being cold once it gets to you is not worth the $ they ask and the customer service can be better. Oh by the way, half the recliner seats don’t function properly and are deteriorating, ants crawling around and flies flying in the air. This place needs some love put into it forSURE!
Overall, I have been very pleased with the cinema and their screen rooms (which I also call theatre)... but...perhaps it was just our row (B row), but remnants of popcorn were scattered throughout the floor. I dont know if I liked seeing the brute in the middle of the theatre, however, i can see the purpose, so the brute in full plane view wasnt a total break for me. I also think where the theatre waiter enters orders, at the entrance of the theatre i think they need a box to put their drink and whatever belongs to them because it looks messy walking out of the theatre (their energy drink, the paperwork scattered, the menus, receipts scattered, etc. im also wondering if there needs to be a more deeper clean, when there is a 2-3 hour gap between shows in the particular theatre (screen room) e.g. vacuuming, full wipe down of chairs and pivot trays, etc. just a review mostly of some thoughts... however, not a bad cinema. parking is convenient and you can easily get to the cinema from elevators.
Gaby the server totally forgot to put in our order, a soda and popcorn (not that hard). Finally after putting in the order with another server we get our “bottomless” and extremely expensive food at the end of the movie. (10 bucks for a soda!)
They ran the movie with the lights on (see photo attached). Even after validating your parking ticket they still charge you a few bucks.
Not returning. Not worth my money, CMX is a much better option.
Way too expensive for subpar theater, cleanliness not great and the cost of food so high for poor quality. Wish it was more family friendly prices in this location. Where are the $1 movie matinees like all the other theaters do?
I’ve been coming to this theater for a long time now and through the years the quality has gone down. The theater is so dirty. I lifted up the arm rest and there was a pile of popcorn and the chairs were full of grease. My server was very nice but the service is incredibly slow. I got to the theater 30 minutes early and I received my beer and popcorn like 30 minutes into the movie. I then ordered another round of beers from a different waiter and she completely forgot to put in the order. So after another 20 minutes my actual waiter came by and we ordered the beer. After some time, I saw someone take my beers to the people in front of me and he ended up taking them back. The team seems disorganized and they lack communication. I finally received my beers with 15 minutes left of the movie. I was also very annoyed because I never use the bathroom during movies but I really had to go and the bathroom right next to my theater was out of service so I had to walk all the way to the front entrance for the bathroom. The bathrooms are disgusting. They smell of urine and there was toilet paper all over the floor. All the soap dispensers were empty and there wasn’t any paper towel. I don’t think I will be coming back to this theater anymore. It used to be way better back in the day.
This theater is one of the most underrated theaters close to US-1. The ticket purchasing is easy and the experience onsite is the exact same as in person if you choose to avoid any fees from booking on their website. The movie watching experience was what you would hope for in a nice theater. The reclining seats worked well and were in good condition.

Cinépolis: where the screens are big, the food is good, and the front staff treat basic human interaction like an optional side quest.
I show my ticket. “You can just go in.”
Me: “Where is it?”
Reception: points vaguely “It’s there.”
Me (in my head): “Wow, thank you SO much. That clears up nothing.”
No signs, no guidance, just pure vibes and confusion. I ask again. “Theater 6.” Cool. Still no idea where that is. Am I supposed to divine the location through interpretive dance?
Love the theater itself, but unless you enjoy feeling like a burden for simply asking directions, maybe go somewhere that teaches their staff how to point and smile.
Great experience at this theater! We came to watch Jurassic World: Rebirth, and everything from start to finish was excellent. The seating was super comfortable — spacious, clean, and perfect for enjoying a movie like this. The food service was quick, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. A special shoutout to Jackelyn, the young lady who greeted us at the entrance. She was welcoming, professional, and really set the tone for a great night. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks to the whole team!
Went to see the Fantastic Four and the theater's screen was blurry and being projected not full screen. You can imagine how annoying it is, especially after telling 2 employees that never fixed it. Worst was leaving and going into another room and seeing it full screen in all its glory. Really bad experience.

First, let me start by saying all of the employees were very pleasant. I was genuinely excited to learn that Cinepolis offered breakfast and 9 a.m. showings, so I convinced my friend and her son to join us for a fun early outing. When we walked into the theater, it was completely empty — we were literally the only two families there. It felt like a private showing of The Smurfs, which was a cool experience at first.
Unfortunately, the food service really missed the mark. Even though the theater was empty, it took forever for our food to arrive. The kids were getting cranky from hunger, and it wasn’t until the movie was halfway over that their pancakes and French toast finally showed up.
While I was relieved they got their food, I was disappointed that mine never came. I asked the server who delivered our meals, and she said she’d check. Another 15 minutes passed with no update. I pressed the service button, and a different employee came by. After I explained the situation, he also went to check. My quiche didn’t arrive until the movie was ending. I was told it had never been put in. Mistakes happen — thankfully it was my food and not one of the kids — but it was frustrating that no one took ownership. There were just excuses, no real apology.
Also, did you know you could drive to Sunset and watch the same movie for a lot less? I was happy to pay extra for the experience, but when it falls short — especially with food delays and no accountability — it makes you question the value.
The theater itself is clean and the people are friendly, but I’d recommend eating before you go — or maybe checking out other options.
The audio and screen are good but the problem I had was with the food and overall cleanliness of the theater.
As far as the food- maybe because it’s served in the dark they think you won’t notice but it was soooooo disappointing. I got the sweet chilli bowl and it was basically all rice with an extremely small amount of the toppings , and chicken WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. RIDICULOUS AND INFURIATING.
I recently visited Cinepolis at Coconut Grove and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. 😞
First off, the cleanliness was a big issue. The hallways were not well-kept, and our screening room could have definitely used a good vacuuming. It really detracted from the overall experience.
Then there’s the pricing—everything felt way too expensive for what we received. The additional costs seemed hidden, especially since the waitress was less than friendly and didn’t provide a receipt. It felt frustrating to not know exactly what we were paying, especially with the tip being automatically added without any clear communication.
All in all, it’s safe to say this was my first and last visit. I had hoped for a better experience, but I left feeling unsatisfied. Would not recommend based on this experience!
Good for Family
Extremely disappointed with Cinépolis Cocowalk. This is the second time in a row I’ve had a bad experience here. Last week, I ordered truffle popcorn, paid nearly $40 in food, and never received it. No apology. Today, I gave them another chance and ordered a simple glass of water — it took 20 minutes to arrive, my cousin food arrived first. Was it so hard to bring the water at the same time? For a theater that markets itself as “premium,” this level of service is unacceptable. Basic requests shouldn’t require follow-ups or long waits. The service is consistently disorganized, slow, and inattentive. If this doesn’t improve, I won’t be coming back — and I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone.
