Food is over priced, they say that you’re buying a pound of chicken and it’s a quarter pound. When you complain to them, they say that the system just puts it that way. Also the girl in the front (Britany) has a very ugly attitude, even for a place of inferior quality and character.

Sorry...not sorry. Maybe one of the worst restaurants I've eaten probably ever ?
Story Time!
So sis who was the server, tall , thick, Jamaicsn chick probably had the worst customer service probably ever. But as a Jamaican, that's honestly a very universal punchline but usually that's because the food is GOOD. Yeah her service was SO bad, that a gentleman walked up to our table, saw that we had got our food apparently before his table , who looked like they were celebrating, and he asked for the manager and it was like a huge commotion. My mom ordered the jerk pork which was all fat, tasted like wild boar, and the server was at least kind enough to bring her some pieces of meat instead of fat. Worst rice and peas i had inna mi life! Worst red pea soup, probably ever . Worst patties, idk how they're in business. If unnuh wan fi try REAL jamaican food go to Cliffs! ! not Clives . or hmu! i'm finna start selling plates if this place can maintain business

Horrible experience! A roach was found in plantain entree. No apologies at all. Also the pasta was nasty and we asked for it to be taken off or something different and we were refused. Will never come back and telling everyone as well

Cow foot was excellent. Seasoned properly with lots of flavor. The goat soup which I hadn't had in about 15years, took me back to Jamaica. Plus the patties I love..great crust to meat ratio. Will definitely be back. My order was take out

The food is too dry for the price! Asked for gravy on my rice and she gave me a teaspoon full! Fish had a funny taste like it wasn’t fresh. Overall 1 star quality. Will never be back!

Food was good. I wish I opted for the Brown Stew instead of the jerk chicken because I like sauce.

Intro: the food was okay.

Pros:
-semi has parking
-the curry chicken was okay
-the drinks were good
-the prices were reasonable

Cons:
-the jerk chicken was very dry
-rice and peas were not the best
-Mac and cheese was bland.
-they need to work on those cakes.

Overall: it’s edible. Not even close to the best carribean food I have eaten.

Good food but super slow on the take out. It’s like they don’t want your business.

First time at Clives. I got the Oxtail, & my husband the fried fish. THIS was a good Oxtail with butterbeans and rice & peas (Jamaicans call the rice with any beans, rice & peas). I cook a good Jamaican Oxtail myself for years everybody love, since my husband is from Jamaica. I always have Butterbeans in it. U know how hard it is, to find a good Jamaican Restaurant that serves Oxtail with Butterbeans? We been in Jamaica & Atlanta, & it is almost impossible to find any Butterbeans in Oxtail. So I was amazed to find them with Clives Oxtail, that gives it a great taste. Oxtail without Butterbeans is not a good Oxtail for me. I still add dumplings to mine, but it is not a must. Also the fried fish tasted excellent too. My husband had a Pea soup, with yellow yam & dumplings & it was delicious. Had very sweet plantains on the side. Still got one beef pattie that was a little on the thin side, but tasted great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Clive's Cafe.

My 21-yr-old son got the escovitch snapper and said it was the best fish dish he's had. This place does spicy food right - enough so you feel it and flavorful at the same time. My 17-yr-old son and I weren't very hungry so we just went for chicken and beef patties with a healthy dose of Scotch Bonnet hot sauce. All of us enjoyed our meals with their strong (the way it should be) ginger beer. The server was friendly and very helpful, patiently answering our questions about the menu. There's nothing not to like about Clive's and we plan to return as early as tomorrow.
