We recently had a wedding at the Cocoplum Women’s Club. It was PERFECT. We had 135 people, we used the courtyard for the ceremony. We had bistro lights added and with the adjacent ballroom our guests could go outside and talk or stay on the dance floor all night. Rosie was so easy to work with from the beginning. We had a tasting of tropical chicken and Tuscan chicken which were both delicious. We also had the salmon with lemon butter sauce which was excellent. The sweet table was beautiful and our guests loved it! The wedding cake from ET’s cakes was also fabulous! All of our vendors that we used in the included package were fabulous. We used some that were recommended and we upgraded our packages like photography/videography, florist, band, added a portrait artist and all were amazing! Everything was beautiful, the food delicious, the staff was amazing, I can not imagine a better venue- no matter the price. Again, A Perfect wedding.❤️

My daughter and son-in-law's wedding at the Coco Plum was fabulous and so well organized due to Rosie's attention to detail. All of the personal items that we brought to the venue the day before were arranged beautifully by Rosie and her team - we were blown away by their attention to detail.
When one of our elderly family members felt ill after the ceremony (due to low blood sugar from an existing medical condition) Rosie personally saw to it that this family member was escorted to a private, quiet spot where they could rest, and Rosie brought them food and a drink and kept checking in to see that they were feeling better. All of this took place while family group photos were being taken, and the bride and groom were none the wiser thanks to Rosie!
All of the food - appetizers, salad, and entrees - was EXCELLENT!!! If the Coco Plum was a restaurant, I would definitely eat there again - the food was not only delicious but beautifully plated - kudos to the chef and his team.
We had planned a flash mob dance to surprise the bride and groom, and Rosie worked with me to connect me to the DJ to make sure he had the song that we needed and knew when to play it. The surprise went off without a hitch, and it went so well that some of the guests inquired about learning the choreography for upcoming weddings in their families! This could not have happened without Rosie's help.
And finally, at the end of the night, after all the guests had left and only the bride and groom were left at the venue Rosie and her husband made sure they got back to their AirB&B safely. This is a level of caring and service you don't often see....

Now that two weeks have passed since our big day, we're still over the moon thanks to the professional and attentive staff of the Coco Plum Women's Club of Coral Gables. Not only did they make our vision come to life (and better), but they blew us away with attention to small details and made the whole planning process smoother and less stressful.
As Miami locals, we knew we wanted to marry in a venue close to the Gables, so we toured 5 spots before finding the Coco Plum. After hearing prices, seeing the spaces, and speaking with the reps at other venues, we immediately knew after our tour that this was 'the one.' The historic building and landscaping keep that old Spanish Florida charm, and the preferred vendors work with you to add flair and details that fit your personality and imagined color scheme. We did the all-inclusive package, which provides all basic needs and services like floral centerpieces, DJ, photography, food, cake, liquor, day-of coordinators, etc. and even some fun additions like a men's grooming service and content creator. Rather than solely food, it is a per-person price for all vendors, but we found this to be much more affordable than it would have been to arrange everything on our own. Even with adding upgrades to our package on lighting, photo booth, premium appetizers, and decor, it still came out to be more affordable than other places quotes for our group of 150+. Because all of these vendors work fairly exclusively with the Coco Plum, they are practically on speed dial when needed and know the space like the back of their hands, so the familiarity lessens the chance of mistakes to occur.
We had several meetings with Rosie (director/coordinator) and her staff throughout the year to prepare linens, timelines, cultural observances, and menu items. Even with a last-minute request to have an on-site pizza station, they made it happen and it was a huge hit! On the day of the event, it was about as flawless as it could be. Prepared with walkie talkies and multiple staff members, we didn't have to worry about anything. Even in a rush of greetings from guests, they made sure every planned detail was covered, that we had food available to eat (though we struggled to have an appetite), and a delicious cocktail or water in our hands at all times. There was a moment where the groom's tux rental had buttons popping off, but they were there to save the day. And after the ceremony when my feet hurt, they came over with spray to numb so I could dance the rest of the night away. Though the bridal party was there, they also helped pin my veil and button my bustle. Little things like that are what sets this venue apart. They truly care and have a passion for making unforgettable weddings.

I'll never forget the moment after first dances and toasts when all 150 people got up and started breaking it down on the dance floor and kept that animation throughout the evening. As for food, we were so busy taking it all in that we didn't try the entrees, but we heard wonderful things, especially with the lemon caper salmon and decadent dessert table.
Overall, it was magical. They have this down to a science. We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding, and can't recommend enough that you do the same. Now I am just hoping to be invited to another event here so I can enjoy it as a guest!

We felt seen, supported, and completely embraced throughout the entire journey. They made sure we ate, enjoyed and had everything we needed. They were thinking of the smallest of details - and it felt personal and professional.
At the end of the night, after all guests had left, Rosie asked the DJ to play one last song for us at the dance floor as a surprise. It was truly a beautiful moment. What a lovely thought!

Cocoplum, Rosie Hayden and team were absolutely a dream to work with. From the minute we toured until the end of our wedding it was easy sailing because of the patience, care and attentiveness Rosie provided.
The day of, we had Rosie as our planner and although it rained and it could’ve been a disaster but it went perfectly with Rosie’s quick thinking and problem solving. Her team was on top of everything all night and I had nothing to do but honestly, sit and look pretty literally.

From the moment we met the staff at Cocoplum we felt welcomed and right at home. Rosie and the team are all so amazingly wonderful at everything that they do. When I tell you, my guest could not stop raving about how great the food tasted *kudos to the chef*, how beautiful the venue was how the staff was everywhere but also out of the way in such a graceful manner, the drinks were flowing all night, the attention to detail, and the services that were privately given to the bride and groom were unremarkable! We absolutely loved working with the Coco Plum team! From the very beginning, they made us feel so cared for, and their customer service was nothing short of amazing. Rosie and Katherine were such a dream, they were there every step of the way, making sure every detail was perfect and keeping us calm and happy. Her team is so organized and attentive. The venue is breathtaking, an old, historical building full of charm, and it made our day feel even more magical. When we arrived, they made us feel truly celebrated and pampered. And the food…so many guests are still talking about the perfectly tender steak! Honestly, everything about our wedding was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful team to share it with. :)
