I've been to Contessa a few times. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is attentive. The prices are slightly higher than other restaurants of the same standard. What really surprised me was that I felt the portion sizes had gotten much smaller. There were six of us. We ordered three starters and six individual main courses. I left feeling hungry. The flavor was very good, though. Great wine list, but with extremely high prices. Very few bottles under 90 USD.

We went here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at this upscale Italian restaurant. The service was amazing. Our server Alex Morel gave us perfect recommendations for what to order and we loved the individualized attention. We had the Burrata & Beef Carpaccio for an app and then shared the Chicken Limon and Potatoes for our main course. Alex brought out the balsamic and olive oil for our burrata and carpaccio with the recommendation to eat it all together. Whew what a...
