The food was very good, but service was a little slow. We had a few appetizers and split our main courses. The spicy lobster capellini was divine, but the veal Milanese was very bland and apparently fried in oil vs unsalted sweet, rectified butter. It appeared that there were only 2 servers working tables in both the interior and outside dining areas pf the restaurant. Very nice for a first date or romantic dinner. It's quiet and low key. Cake cutting fee was $15 a person. So $90 for me. Food tasted great but portions are small. For it being pasta the price was not fully worth it. Averaging I spent $65 to $70 per person and that was not including cocktails.
After making the reservation, I read reviews and was worried I was preparing myself for horrible food but im happy to say I was not upset with the food. We did get meatballs that I feel wasn't a very Italian recipe but still had a nice taste. I've been to the one in Boston and the ambiance is NOT the same.
