Great local small pub in the Grove walking distance from my place ... in the Cocowalk complex but around the corner .. not too busy yet.. I like that.. as opposed to the "show off crowds" in the front of CocoWalk..
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Craft. I was the first customer to arrive at 10 AM and wasn’t even seated for the first 10 minutes. There was no server in sight. When the server finally took care of us, there were only two people working inside, and they seemed more focused on chatting and cleaning than attending to customers.
I had to walk up three times just to place an order for a drink, correct an incorrect order for my breakfast sandwich (despite requesting no bacon and relish three times), and to ask for water. It’s unfathomable that with only two people on staff and being the only customer, the service could be so terrible.
As for the food, I paid over $20 for a mediocre breakfast sandwich primarily made of cheap cheese and hard, dry scrambled eggs. The bacon was excessively greasy, and the orange juice tasted rancid. I had brought my son and friends with me, and we all agreed we won’t be returning.
I used to love the Craft in Brickell, so I’m really disappointed to see such poor service at the Grove location. I wouldn’t have written this review if the staff had acknowledged our concerns or offered an apology for the terrible service.
