Food was good, had garlic chicken very moist and flavorful, beans and yuca. The part i did not like was the rice, not sure how you call it white rice with corn when it is so extra flavored which i didn’t like at all. Added some weird extra spice for no reason, tasted like star anise. I assume people like it, maybe a culture thing but no regular rice at all.

Went to pick up an order that I called in, received a text it was ready and when I arrived, the order was missing items. One of the cooks was to busy eating french fries while serving food. And because of her my food was given to me cold. Very unprofessional and unhygienic. She could have been sick serving food. Never again!!!

We were fortunate to find this excellent restaurant with a focus on Venezuelan wood-fired cuisine on a one night stay in Miami. My wife and I shared an empanada appetizer and a sampler plate of chicken, sausage and picanha steak. All was outstanding! The only minor drawback was that the sides were relatively cold when served. Gredxander was a great server.

The food is good, a bit on the pricier side. An app, coke and basic salad was $38. I do like that things are fresh! I do come here from time to time for lunch, but you can't come here if you are on the clock at lunch - they take a long time prepping food.

Definitely Coming Back Went to Dando la Brasa this Sunday with my husband and we were delighted. The place is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and has parking available. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered a fish ceviche to start (incredible, 10/10!), then half a chicken with chipotle sauce, black beans, and corn rice (also 10/10), and finished with a delicious key lime pie. I had a sangria to drink — very good and refreshing. We went on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
