Went to the outside courtyard party during art Basel and it was too much of a blast of a time. Highly recommend. IDK what goes on inside the actual lounge but my vibe is definitely outside.

I visited this venue for a friend’s birthday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the front door security. The guard was rude, combative, and continuously bothered our guests throughout the night. The music, drinks, and overall vibe were amazing, and I genuinely would’ve loved to return. However, the treatment we received at the door has completely changed my mind.
As paying patrons, we work hard for our money and shouldn’t have to deal with poor customer service upon arrival. This could have easily become my new Wednesday go-to spot, but the security’s behavior — including telling us we weren’t welcome back — was unacceptable.

I’ve visited Dante’s before and had good experiences, which is why I brought a group of friends for my birthday. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, it began to rain and the girls briefly stepped aside since there is no roof or covering. When we returned to the same spot, where the rest of our friends were standing, the white-bearded doorman started yelling at us. He was unnecessarily aggressive, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I attempted to clarify the situation, he ignored me and walked away.
After seeing other reviews describing the same behavior from the same doorman, it’s clear this is a recurring problem and unaddressed problem rather than an isolated incident.
It’s disappointing to see a place with such potential overshadowed by unprofessional conduct at the entrance. We left, and I cannot recommend the establishment until this ongoing issue is appropriately addressed by management.

I love listening bars and have been to a fair share around the world. Dantes has a great vibe, and the DJ was outstanding. The bartender, wait staff, and Drinks were all perfect. The space is smaller than you might think, and that presents a challenge for seating. Make a reservation and get there early, even then.... be prepared to get shuffled around or told your time is up.

I thought this place was R&B. Went on a Sunday and music was so random and not enjoyable. We were there for 2 hours and maybe 1 good decent R&B song was played. Why didn't we just leave? They hold $25 per person on your card to just reserve and they put it towards the tab when you're there. It's not refundable. They also don't tell you they add gratuity and the card reader still asks if you want to add 15, 18, or 20%. When they've already put gratuity on the tab!!! Didn't realize it until I was doing the math after we had already left. So for 3 drinks, we coughed up $70-80. I can't justify ever coming back.
