It's a really good bakery, for the many years that I've been coming here. Some items taste better than others, and it depends on your taste buds. Overall, the service moves fairly quickly. There's a next number tab, but not utilized, and there's signs posted, "Cash Only," but they do accept credit card and NFC payments. I've been coming here for years since I used to live two houses down the block. The owners are very sweet and friendly and so are the staff. You can't go wrong with their variety of pastries, cakes and your traditional Cuban breakfast.
We stopped in for some guava pastries and colada while staying in the neighborhood, and it was just perfect. The pastries are buttery and crisp, and the coffee was strong and sweet. Be warned, it's cash only, but you won't argue because the prices are great and the quality is top notch. They were well staffed, and the line moved very quickly despite the morning rush.
