Amazing
Was very disappointed. I've come to this restaurant before many years ago, and my only complaint was the looooooong time it'd take to get our order.
But last time we were there, we stared at each other again and again. Server took forever to get the order, we had drinks though. We were the only ones in the inside tables and we only saw one person leave... after being there for two hours and then closing.
We finally tried to order but we had to list three different plates to actually find something that was available.
Then my glass of water had a weird substance attached to the inside of it... like a white hard something...... I didn't notice it till it was half way full.
The food is great, delicious! Like no other! But just because we were not able to eat what we wanted (x3) I gave it less stars.

Bun pork, croquetas, everything that we had was really really good. But they didn’t have a menu.

Second time visiting, a delusion, not coming back soon. Exhausted oil used for frying, half menu not available, plates that used to be very good (arroz imperial), now just loaded with mayo and not much care. 2 tables occupied on Thursday night, it feels this is the end of an adventure

One of the Worst Dining Experiences I’ve Ever Had
I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing I feel obligated to warn others. From start to finish, this was a complete letdown.
First, the goat cheese croquetas weren’t even croquetas—they weren’t fried, and the filling tasted more like bland mozzarella than anything resembling goat cheese. Then I ordered crispy rice tuna poppers, and they bizarrely came on tostones instead of any sort of crispy rice. No explanation, just a completely different dish.
The final straw came with the entrée. I ordered a Churrasco, cooked medium—it came out completely well done, dry, and overcooked. But the absolute worst part? The tres leches they served me had MOLD on it. Mold. When I brought it up, the staff casually offered to bring a “new batch,” as if I should just shrug it off. At that point, my appetite was gone.
All of this—subpar food, major kitchen errors, and literal food safety issues—cost me $93. I didn’t even order drinks. Just terrible Cuban food at a premium price.
This place may have hype, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and your stomach.

This was one of our favorite spots, but last night the quality of the food, the taste and the presentation it was not what it used to be. I don't know if they changed owner or chef, but a very big disappointment.
Delicious food and great service! We arrived when they opened right at 5 and were the only customers which was nice. Very attentive to allergy requests.
the best food i've ever eaten

Incredible food, Cuban approved! All the twists and turns on the traditional dishes from the vaca frita tostones to the masitas de puerco frito en arroz frito.
All the flavors were 10/10, so perfectly cooked, we also shared the arroz imperial which was packed with flavor and didn’t even have meat! Definitely coming back on my next visit to see how they’ve evolved the menu!

Restaurantji Recommends
Doce Provisions blew me away! It was my first time trying Cuban food, and everything was absolutely delicious and authentic. The flavors were rich and satisfying—clearly made with love and tradition. On top of that, we had the best waiter who made the experience even more enjoyable with great recommendations and top-notch service. The drinks were also incredible—fresh, creative, and perfectly crafted. I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!
Greta ambiance and really great tema but unfortunately one of their best menu items, Chicken and waffles and birria, has been removed from the menu. I liked coming here with my friends but likely won't be back because those were the best items. Bring them back!

Hidden Gem With a Whole Vibe Out Back
I absolutely loved this place! When you first walk in, it might not blow you away—but step out onto the back patio and the entire vibe transforms. It’s like stepping into a whole new experience.
My girlfriend and I went for dinner while on vacation, and everything from the food to the service was top-notch. The drinks were on point, the service was friendly and attentive, and our server Valentina was amazing. (Coming from a restaurant manager—that’s saying something!)
I ordered the imperial rice with shrimp, avocado, and a fried egg on top. It was so good I had to slow down just to make it last! My girlfriend had the coconut fish and shrimp, and she loved every bite.
Honestly, this is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again before your trip is even over. My only suggestion? Upgrade the patio seating to something a bit more comfortable. Other than that, I highly recommend it—definitely a must-visit!
