Doggy’s has the best Venezuelan food in Miami. Have been coming here for years. Arianny and Miguel’s service was great! Can’t recommend it enough!

Mixed Experience at Doggi’s Venezuelan Restaurant

I’ve always loved the food at Doggi’s, and today was no exception. The flavors were fantastic as always. My daughter, niece, and I enjoyed our drinks—a mora juice, papelón con limón, and a cappuccino—and shared some delicious bites.

However, the service today left much to be desired. While things started well with our server promptly taking our order, everything went downhill as the restaurant got busier. When we were ready to pay, we waited for quite some time before another server brought the bill. Even after that, we continued to wait and ultimately had to go to the cashier to get things moving.

Unfortunately, this part of the experience was frustrating. When I handed the bill to Sandra at the cashier, she attempted to charge us for an extra papelón con limón that we didn’t order. When I pointed out the error, she insisted repeatedly that we had an additional drink, and her attitude was unhelpful and dismissive. The original server was nearby but didn’t clarify the situation. The entire process felt unnecessarily complicated and unpleasant.

In the end, I paid for what we actually ordered, but the service overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable meal. While I’ll definitely return for the food, I hope the management takes steps to improve the service and ensure smoother, more pleasant experiences for diners.

Variety of Venezuelan gastronomy options. Authentic and homemade flavor. The best thing is how they serve you, with love and respect.
