I have always connected with Doggi’s because it reflects our Venezuelan roots — both in the menu and in the ambience. Today I came by to enjoy a delicious cachapa and, of course, the Nutella churros that we can never leave behind. DIVINE, as always, and so was the team: Yainelys, Mauro, Deny — friendly, warm, and cozy just like every visit.
I did notice, however, that the Wall of Memories is gone. I imagine the restaurant will be remodeled, and I wanted to share a small piece of constructive feedback. I’ve worked in advertising my entire career, and I deeply understand how brands build emotional connections. That wall was more than decoration — it was identity. It reminded us of home. It made Doggi’s feel ours.
I completely understand the desire to expand your reach and attract new audiences, and that’s absolutely fair. But removing such a powerful emotional element may not be the best move, as your core audience connects with Doggi’s not only for the arepas and cachapas, but for the feeling of belonging — for that warmth and nostalgia that only a place rooted in culture can give.

I was impressed who staff work as team...from the cook to the manager are involved in your table..any item requested were brought inmediately..
I arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 PM and placed a takeout order, but then decided to eat inside. I always leave a tip, but the cook’s attitude was very rude when the waitress told him about the change. He reacted badly, saying, “Why do they order to go and then decide to eat here?” That kind of behavior leaves a bad impression. Remember, a business depends on its customers, and the manager should pay attention to these situations that ruin the dining experience.

the service is amazing, deny, jean are great. But we were so sad to see the mural was gone! Le quitaron el alma, please don’t makw doggis another corporate looking restaurant. The folklore on the walls was a feature, not a bug. It was a highlight to bring guests from other cultures and show them venezuelan words and pictures from Our childhood. Its a restaurant for the diaspora, not for soul less millennial gray corporate asceptic look. Doggis is not caracas bakery, doggis is fun , welcoming and quirky. Now it just looks like any other place. Wrong wrong move.
