This place is not a 4.8 but a solid 4. The food wasn't that good, and the dishes are small; the eggs Benedict were the best by far. I'm not saying it is bad; actually, it is good food, but you will not be surprised by the flavor. The atmosphere is really good, and the service is good too. Will I come back? Probably not; better options are out there.

El restaurant is truly unique, featuring four distinct restaurants within the same building. They’ve evolved from a luxury restaurant to a beach style, a party spot, and finally, an American-style eatery. The food was good. But be sure to do reservations

Food was good service was ok. Atmosphere was excellent. I had the short rib and it had really good flavor. My appetizer was the oxtail and that was fantastic. Wife tried the Al Pastor flat bread and it was very greasy. It still had good flavor. The corn bread was fantastic. The service wasn't very good. Server was friendly but was absent for most of our dinner. It took forever to get our bill.

The food was exceptional, very tasty and was quick. As always we come back because of the food. But this time the service was not there at all from the movement we were greeted to the waiter smelling like a box of cigarettes, it seemed like he could of been having a bad day he was very rude to the people we were with we spoke Spanish but the couple we were with didn’t and expected us to translate to him even though he seems to speak English. Been coming here for years even the other restaurant they had closed was always great. But this last time was not a great experience.

At first, the restaurant looked beautiful and cosy, creating a lovely atmosphere. The waiter was polite, and the food was okay—not exceptional, but enjoyable.

However, we were quite surprised when we received the bill halfway through our meal, despite still having food on our plates and drinks in our glasses. This made us feel unnecessarily rushed, as if we were being encouraged to leave before we were ready. It was an uncomfortable experience that took away from the otherwise pleasant setting.

While the ambience was nice, the rushed service left a negative impression, and unfortunately, we wouldn’t be in a hurry to return.

I want to say up front that the restaurant team members we met were very kind and I think tried to do a good job. We were excited to visit here from out of town, but for a place so highly rated we had a pretty terrible experience: we were sat promptly in a backroom upstairs after being told the outside was closed due to rain (some customers were dining out there already, so maybe a space / timing thing, but totally makes sense). This backroom meant for big parties offers a pretty poor dining experience for the 2 seaters around the outside of the room, as it’s very loud and hard for the wait staff to grant as much attention to the smaller tables. After this the food was ok but not as notable as all the other reviews would suggest, I imagine (not being from the area but being familiar with google reviews) one could pretty much walk a quarter mile in any direction and find equivalent food. Also, did not seem like an appropriate context to warrant a photographer and a bathroom attendant on a Tuesday night. I am sure those team members are kind and hard working, but the place wasn’t disney world or drug fueled club, so both felt a bit out of place / tacky at best and maybe even insulting at worst. I rarely write reviews and almost never write bad reviews because they do seem very corrosive to a businesses well being. That said, I had to write something… incredibly disappointing experience. No need for a response
