This was a mediocre experience. The Caesar Salad and Frito Misto were solid. The Vodka pasta was fine, but it was essentially just a spicy marinara, more akin to arrabbiata than Vodka Pasta. The steak was ok, but came medium, rather than the ordered Medium rare (presumably because it had been sitting on the myriad warming cook tops). The “market fish” smelled like it was the “catch of last week” (couldn't eat it). The service was fine, but then the waiter ghosted us at check time, causing a lingering demise to an already mediocre evening.

Dinner was served at a reasonable time frame. Dessert took over 30 min. My dessert drink was served and my dessert never arrived. It was a special dinner with my daughter and it was a total disappointment. As I am complaining which I never complained before, my dessert was ready and they wanted to pack it for me to go. I refused it and asked for my bill to pay minus the dessert. As a Titanium member, I have never received such poor service. I even reminded the server and he said soon but never served. What made it frustrating is the fact everyone was getting served, even the table next to me got their dessert although I ordered first. Donna Mare is one of the reasons I stay at the Cadillac and now the pleasure of staying has gotten tainted.

Jorge did a nice job as our waiter. The service was very good. My bolognese was plentiful but just okay. My wife had lasagna was very good but not your typical lasagna. Pasta was fresh and meat sauce was good. The dog barking was a bit of disturbance but it was appreciative to come over and apologize. We stayed across the street at Circa 39 so location was excellent

This was the absolute perfect place to celebrate Andy's 65th birthday as well as they helped pull off a surprise engagement!! Andy proposed in this beautiful place with amazingly supportive staff. The food was mouthwatering delicious and we have decided we will be back every time we are in the area. Very well trained and attentive service. The table of 6 all ordered something different and each and every dish was outstanding! The wine pairing perfection. Ambiance lovely. It was hard to save room for dessert but we did and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed every aspect and they were so accommodating with all our needs. 10 out of 10! And so glad we decided to celebrate these two occasions there!

Food was terrific. Focaccia, lasagna and spicy rigatoni were on point. Bartender Paola was super nice and helpful.

Love this place. The food & the service is good I would come here again. The restaurant is beautiful but the price is expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised! Top notch service and all our dishes were amazing. Great portions too. The restaurant inside is also well furnished and chic. Would definitely come again

Personally, we loved and preferred the Trattoria menu, logo, and brand story. Unfortunately, the mussels in my dish tasted fishy and I didn't eat. Additionally, the pasta was sticking together in clumps. We returned because of Elena and our previous dining experiences. She is the main reason we chose Donna Mare for our rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast. Excellent wines and cocktail list. The honey ricotta bread accompaniment was delish. The DJ was FANTASTIC!

Dissapointing. Our server was very nice and attentive and the appetizer and salad (focacia bread and the ceasar) were good and large enough for us to share. The veal and filet were poor at best. The steak was ordered medium and delivered rare at best and rubbery. Sent it back and it returned better but nothing special. The veal was uninspired. Not at all an Italian dining experience (they just have pasta). It's a skip.

Best Italian meal in a long time. Food was presented beautifully and was fresh and cooked beautifully.

Such a wonderful dining experience! The food was very well prepared. The staff were very knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. We were here visiting but if we lived closer this would be a regular dining out choice!

Well, the service is nice and the atmosphere is nice, the food quality has gone down here over the years. I've been here for a few years in a row and the quality seems to be declining unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, you can still get a good meal, but it is not what it used to be.

We found this restaurant by chance and couldn't have been more pleased. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was top notch as were the drinks and food. We would highly recommend Donna Mare if you visit Miami.

We started with fresh oysters, they were delicious. I took a pizza, my husband the filet mignon. Even my husband loved the pizza (usually he hates it), his filet was tender as butter, and grilled perfectly. Luis F from Honduras was our server and he was very attentive. We will come back

Our service was great! From the descriptions of the food, we expected much much more. My homemade pasta was overdone - the seafood in it was too large in the case of the mussels and not so fresh in the case of the scallops! I found it very disappointing for the price!
My husband had lamb chops - medium! We're quite rare, but still very tasty. However- $17 for asparagus or potatoes is completely ridiculous! Would not ever come back!

However- bungalow by the sea- the 'bar/beach' restaurant had terrific food!
