Their logo show bao buns, but you won’t find those on the menu anywhere. Instead you’ll find Publix/Trader Joes-level gyoza and shumai sold at $2 per piece and a cucumber salad that is just about as sad as a bowl of chopped cucumber and soy sauce can be. This place will be out of business within the year.

This was right across the street from our hotel and we thought about trying it a few times. Our Uber driver told us it was great so went the next morning for an early lunch. Our host/server was welcoming and gave us some great advice on the menu. The entire staff was friendly. It’s a small restaurant with a dozen bar stools or so and similar number of tables. Luckily we were there early and it was a holiday so no problem with seating. It was impeccably clean. We shared a few small plates including scallion pancakes, spring rolls and chicken dumplings. The mandarine orange sauce with the spring rolls was yummy. Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. The flavors were amazing. It was the best tasting food we had during our weekend in Miami.

Over the past month I have had the pleasure of eating at this new dumpling bar downtown. Dumplings are great, the best in Miami. The apps are made to order and very fresh. The ramen was perfectly cooked, I was a huge fan of Momofuko in NYC so I know good ramen. Try the Happy Hour as well.
