Had a huge pupusa craving, and our local Miami friend suggested that we all go here! PARKING: A small lot with free parking WHAT I ORDERED: * Baleada * Tamal de elote * Pupusas de frijol * La Picadita * Agua de tamarindo * Mojito FOOD + DRINKS: The pupusas and tamal came out first, and were a great way to start off the meal! The tamal was tender went especially well with the crema, and the pupusas were pretty solid. The curtido was really good here - nice and tangy. La picadita was a nice way for us to sample a whole bunch of Salvadoran bites that we were craving as a lighter break between the other dishes - the tortillas and tostones especially. But the star of the show was the steak obviously! Very well seasoned and juicy. The baleada came out last and was also delicious with tons of fresh avocado. I do wish we got the one with egg, but maybe next time. The aguas were pretty standard, but great to wash down the food. The mojito was okay, but a little too sweet. SERVICE: Super friendly service and food came out fairly fast. VIBES: Spacious and lots of seating - great for catching up with friends or family. BOTTOM LINE: Pretty solid place to get your Salvadoran food fix - hope to come back sometime.

I passed by this restaurant on March 16 and it was a bad experience, my beef soup was cold and tasteless, some grills for the others were still hot, yes, but tasteless and too expensive.

This morning, my husband and I decided to come and have breakfast here. Well, we had heard that they had a breakfast called "BUKELE." The name caught my attention. When we arrived, it was completely empty. They took care of us quickly. When ordering our food, the waitress immediately informed us that they had no avocado. At no time did she offer us a replacement for the lack of avocado. Well, they brought us the food. We immediately got a strong smell of rotten eggs. I personally didn't even touch them. My husband tried a little and didn't like them. Well, the rest of the food was mediocre. The meat was soft and delicious. But what really bothered me was that after we paid the bill and we got up to leave, I looked over at the table on the side. We noticed that those customers had avocado on their plates. How is it possible that half an hour before I was told they did not have avocados, but when these people arrived, they had avocados available for them???!! It got worse when I found out that my friend who had breakfast the day before was also told that there was no avocado. That sounds weird and unfair. This is enough for me not to eat again in this place because it seems that avocados are served only to those who they choose. I prefer the Atlakat located on Taft and Douglas. This morning my husband and I decided to come here for breakfast. Well, we had heard that they had a breakfast called "BUKELE." We ordered two shrimp ceviches to take away and they gave us a few and without sauces when we went to the restaurant to eat, yes everything was good, good ceviche, good service, but to take away you actually get a desiccation on the plate

The pupusas are tasteless and the worst of all is that they have the ridiculous and abusive price of $5.00 cu.

The establishment does not comply with the slightest cleaning service, not to mention the attention provided by the owner herself and her waitresses.I don't recommend it, there are cockroaches and the bathroom is disgusting!!?
