50 minute wait for a bagel and a coffee? While 5 people are working in the kitchen?

Hello? Sausage is too thick (in the good way 😋). So obvious this is the best bagel on the eastern seaboard. Other highlights - matcha, pastries, hot sauce, staff, and that pretty good bench situation in the back. NOT giving it 5 stars because it’s my buddies place - but because of excellence.

This place has the best bagels in Miami hands down. Their matcha and coffees are incredible as well, but the best part is the staff. Everyone’s extremely kind and thoughtful. I really love this place!

El Bagel is hands down the best from their freshly baked bagels, fresh ingredients to their phenomenal hospitality/customer service and consistency with both. Veronica (Mimo location) & Casey (Coconut Grove location) are amazing along with their awesome team! ❤️ thank yall for being outstanding!

I walked in around 12:10p today and it was a mad house. I went on the website and placed an order instead and informed one of the girls there that I wanted my eggs well done. They told me that the orde wouldn't be ready until 12:49p. I got a text around 12:40p saying that the order was ready. I get the order and I checked it and guess what, runny egg. I get the girl's attention and let her know that I let her know that I wanted well done eggs one my sandwich. Her response was that the option is not listed on the website and I told her that I knew, that's why I spoke to her directly and she pulled my order up & told me what time it would be ready.

There's not a phone number listed for you to call in if needed and the option to select how you want you eggs or to put a note like other toast websites is not listed on el bagel's website

Even though it hasn't been around for a very long time, this place is becoming an institution! And for a good reason, from the freshly made bagels to the excellent quality lox and cream cheese. All variety of bagels are available and you can customize your bagel to your liking. Don't forget about the egg and cheese bagel for breakfast. The staff is super friendly and there's a small front patio where you can wait for your order or eat it there. It's always good to order ahead as there's always a waiting line.

Bagels are great BUT the coffee and iced coffee are honestly terrible. It’s really inconvenient to have to stop at El Bagel and then go somewhere else just to get a decent coffee.

Lately, I’ve been going to Caracas Bakery across the street instead since I can get the full meal experience there.

Please do better, El Bagel. I’ve always supported and posted about you when I visit, but it’s getting harder to recommend you to friends when the experience feels incomplete, same goes for the Coconut Grove location.

I got a lemon poppyseed cake, a cream soda, and a bacon egg and cheese bagel. It’s ALWAYS worth the wait, everything is always 10/10!! 🩷

All the staff are super sweet and made up of young people. Although Miami is generally weak when it comes to bagels, this place has the most creative ones in town. That’s why there’s usually a long wait on weekends. I find their eggs a bit undercooked, but if they added an “over hard” option when ordering, they could also appeal to people like me who prefer a classic fried egg texture. This time I tried the one with pastrami — the flavor didn’t really linger on the palate, but as I said, given Miami’s rather weak bagel scene, this place still gets the job done.
