This review is long overdue, as we've been coming here for years almost every single weekend. Great bagels are hard to come by but also consistently great bagels. Pretty much tried all the spots in Miami and most are hit or miss. One day great the next day blah. El Bagel is the best of the best when it comes to quality and consistency. Thankfully they just happen to be down the street from the office. #1 bagels are made perfectly toasted or untoasted. Now for the fun stuff in the middle they have a bunch of great options and by far my fav is the BEC and coming in with a mix of others is Lox, King Guava, Whitefish Grill, and the other go-to is simple with Bagel and Cream Cheese. Additionally, the Whitefish Salad is very good and they serve the best OJ in the world-- Kennesaw! Finally, it is important to note that this place gets crowded and especially on the weekends. Advice: Order online and show up after they tell you your order is ready. They are on point with this and the online ordering process is as smooth as it can be.

Amazing bagel and vibes. Always hits the spot. You will wait a while for your food especially on a weekend morning since they are super busy. There is a patio you can hang out on while you a wait. One of Miami’s best.

This restaurant has roaches and silverfish crawling around inside. ICK. The bagels are really overpriced and really need to be double toasted to even eat because they are so ridiculously chewy. The bacon is also nasty, cold, and covered in solid grease ?. You've got about 50/50 chance of your order being screwed up in some fashion. Don't even bother to order ahead because you'll be waiting a good half hour anyway. The music they play is so loud you can't even hear yourself order. The outside "dining area" is nasty and covered in algae, moss, and dirt, it's also right next to a smelly overflowing dumpster. I heard the kitchen staff joking saying they don't care about someone else's food allergy.

Trash service, trash food. My order was sitting on a shelf getting cold, but the employees kept saying it wasn’t ready. Employees standing behind the counter eating and drinking coffee instead of handing customers their orders. Burnt, acrid, cold food. An aggravating experience. Never again.

These 5 stars are for Mattison, who took our order. Thank you for being so sweet and kind to us. The kitchen forgot to add our side of bacon and she made it right, the bacon was delicious and made the difference. Thank you Mattison we appreciate you ?

The staff are very friendly but the bagels leave much to be desired. I've given this place 3 tries and my opinion has remained the same. The bagels don't seem fresh, their signature bagels create flavors that are just not that good, and the price is not great either. Personally, if I'm paying $10+ for a bagel, it better be a really good bagel. And this is just not it.Maybe for people who have never had actual good bagels, this place would be 5 stars.

One star for just not being a good bagel when that’s literally your name... Doughy and inauthentic, tastes like what I’d imagine the inside of a foam pillow would. Offensively expensive considering the quality. Nearly $4 with butter or more than $5 with cream cheese that probably comes from the restaurant supply store.

Literally the best bagels in Miami. There's only two places I like to go - Grampa's in Hollywood and El Bagel in Miami.

Bagels are legit! There is a variety of fillings and different bagel types. My only recommendation is that they should upgrade their OJ game.

The service and waits here absolutely kill the quality of their food. Walk in and order and you're waiting 30-45 min for a bacon egg and cheese bagel... Order online and arrive at your scheduled pickup time (usually 45min+ from time of order) and you'll still be waiting 20+ minutes for an incredibly simple order. Have given them 3 chances and will not return after repeat poor experiences.
