Been going here for more than 15 yrs, the quality and quantity of the food has gone down tremendously and the prices have gone up too much. The food was a bit bland, and now you have to pay for the breads that they used to give you in the beginning. Not happy with all the changes.

I liked the place but the food the steak was undercooked I had to spit out raw bits and the rice was okay I guess the eggs made me gag and fries had NO flavor I was VERY disappointed I hope next time I go they improve.

We love Peruvian food!
The chaufa mixto Al Chalan and the mixed ceviche are delicious. Bold flavors, freshness, and perfect seasoning in every bite.
Definitely an experience worth repeating!

I invited a friend to eat Peruvian food that usually at this restaurant is very good, yesterday it was a very disappointed experience. We had to wait more than 20 minutes for the appetizer, then another 25 minutes for the dishes. I had the Lomo Saltado before and was delicious, this time had not flavor and the meat was hard, the fish in the Jalea dish had not flavor and only 2 small pieces of fried Yuca. The service was also not as before that the person serving the table was aware of what was needed this time we have to call her when needed soemthing .

I like Peruvian food and Chalan offers it authentically. They still serve those huge and succulent dishes from Peru before the culinary boom. I recommend it.

This restaurant uses monosodium glutamate in all its dishes. This is an addictive toxic ingredient that damages your neurons and eliminates the feeling of satiety because it suppresses the secretion of the hormone that generates it.
