An unassuming Spanish restaurant in a small strip mall. By outward appearances, nothing to write home about. But, never judge a book (or restaurant) by its cover. El Gallegazo offers SUPERB food cooked in real Spanish fashion with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff there to guide the uninitiated. This place is not to be missed. The solomillo and veal dishes are magnificent. They make potatoes taste like heaven! Run to El Gallegazo. You will keep going back.

We went today it was organized group to celebrate Christmas the placed had a fixed menu, my husband & I ordered the lamb shank,the server came bk to tell us that there was no more, she said we have the chicken and fish mahi mahi,I know is not her fault she was very nice tried to help us we ended ordering fr la carta. Spoke to the manager a young guy and his reply was that we came late,which is not true we came 3:15 & he said that we should have ordered right away,was very rude. He should had been more organized with the food and by the way better manners to talk to client's. Very dissaponted, shame on you. By the way the owner should take notes. Next time food wise get more organized.

Good food, I would have given it a 5 if it weren't for how uncomfortable they made me and my wife feel since while we were having lunch, part of their staff was noisily arranging tables and chairs right next to our table. Payment by zelle or cash because the system did not work at that time. All of this would have been overlooked if upon leaving we had not heard a comment regarding the $4 tip that we left even after all this to round out the bill... I visit many restaurants in Miami and if there is one thing I am sure of, it is that I will never return there .

Finally a new owner starts? June 1, 2024. And a nice story.
Its new owner Sauny with great experience in cooking and gastronomy, good menthol for his new employees. Charismatic like few chefs with his audience and clients. Always trying to give his best. It is a great challenge in the coming months.
Good music will be another of his challenges, something he has always liked and varied according to his clientele looking for the best on the market.
In this month of July that is ending, it has been a success in the gastronomic industry ?? like I had never seen before, after taking a historic corner and on the ground by its previous owner Marta, although for her it was an adventure without knowledge of cooking, . But very good person.
I can assure you from my experience in this city of Miami that it will be the sensation of one of the best restaurants with Spanish flavor ?? and atmosphere in the coming months.
